inasexymood I was able to forgive my ex fiancé even though he told my mum we should call off the wedding, as I was passed out due to extreme pain waiting for an ambulance. He then ended it the next day by TEXT as I was still in hospital. It was hard. But we were friends before and when we were together he was amazing when it came to me being in pain 24/7. It was harder to get over than if I’d cut off all contact. But now we’re friends and we’re always there for each other. Each person is different though aren’t they.
Not necessary.. If you liked the person as a friend and a lover, then if the lover is gone, the friendship stays. That's how I think it though. If you really loved regardless then you can hear from them once in a while

Some people don't take break-ups well, in some cases it's not mutual; it may be over for you, but not for them, & some people are cray cray, they'll call non-stop or text & sometimes you just have to cut that cord of access, nothing shady or petty about it, but I also believe if it's mutual & you are grown adults, there should be nothing wrong with having a healthy friendship out of it, there are ex's that want each other to be happy & move on.

Sometimes you just have to block for your own sake. My ex pestered me constantly to get back and I really had strong feelings but ended it because I knew it wasnt a healthy setup. I had to just block because I could feel my resolve weakening and I needed to take control back of the situation because he was basically dictating my emotions by contacting me whenever he wanted on his terms.

It's not a true block. My Samsung phone still shows when blocked numbers call or text. It just automatically rejects the calls and moves the texts to spam folder but you can still see everything if you want to. Maybe iphone is different and it doesn't even come to your phone at all.

I don't blame people for blocking their ex especially if that person is toxic. You can forgive just so you can be at peace within yourself and the situation but like they say don't forget. That goes with family as well. A lot of my family members was so toxic that they would threaten you with text and then call the next day and see if you wanna hang out lmao. So I just block them, I told them heads up I forgive you, but that's it and block them from all social media and my phone as well.
I can reference one experience and a “friendship” with an ex meant I left a window open. Unsurprisingly, exs don’t know how to be friends and it makes for unnecessary situations. I didn’t have to tolerate that to be cordial and civil, that can be done as strangers. I can still revisit good memories them from behind the glass, but that probably won’t happen. Once I’m done, I don’t have any emotional connection to memories. If you don’t know your place, blocking you will let you know.

I don't blame people for blocking their ex especially if that person is toxic. You can forgive just so you can be at peace within yourself and the situation but like they say don't forget. That goes with family as well. A lot of my family members was so toxic that they would threaten you with text and then call the next day and see if you wanna hang out lmao. So I just block them, I told them heads up I forgive you, but that's it and block them from all social media and my phone as well.

I can reference one experience and a “friendship” with an ex meant I left a window open. Unsurprisingly, exs don’t know how to be friends and it makes for unnecessary situations. I didn’t have to tolerate that to be cordial and civil, that can be done as strangers. I can still revisit good memories them from behind the glass, but that probably won’t happen. Once I’m done, I don’t have any emotional connection to memories. If you don’t know your place, blocking you will let you know.

I am a serial blocker LOL. I made the mistake of blocking for shock value, but then ended up unblocking later on. If you're going to block, REALLY be ready, because you're gonna feel hella dumb if you end up in a cycle of blocking and unblocking.

I never blocked an ex but after a few months I had to unfriend him from all social media. It was becoming too easy for me to snoop on his life and find myself disappointed. We’re on good terms now through txt and I think I owe that to removing him completely for a while and never adding him back on social media saved me a lot of heartbreak

Ive never been attached to anyone only once and i wished i had walked away when i knew he was being shady. But when they block you first without closure it sucks the advice i would give someone is walk away first women. Men always feel they can get whatever they want don’t feel compassion for them, they don’t deserve it especially if they are not giving you want you need. Walk walk walk is my advice. Do not let love fool you once the love is gone over time there is nothing between you anyways. When they pull that move of blocking you know they aren’t worth it. It is better to do you and forget about the love. Love comes and goes.

I'm Jeannie. I've had exes try to contact me via phone or social media and I just ignore them. Eventually I would either delete their number or they would unfriend me just to friend me again later....and I would still ignore their request.
