Ginny, I found this a refreshingly pragmatic approach for a leader to address a demoralised team and retention, particularly the steps on how a leader can restore motivation. I have been researching and learning more on talent management. I have been struck by how academic and impersonal most of the models and strategies are. They seem to disregard the personal impact of leaders and managers on the immediate environment employees experience, which may be completely different to organisational culture and has more bearing on employees decision to leave the environment. It is refreshing to see a thought leader in the space making talent management practical and the responsibility of leaders.
