Those sorts of mouth sounds put me into a rage. Thanks for this, I had no idea you could edit the waveform with the pencil tool like this.
I'm glad I could help!
Sir, you are a LIFESAVER. I'm in the process of doing an audiobook, and I've been tearing my hair out trying to deal with the 'clicks' that keep happening; I wanted to give up because I kept feeling like I needed to re-record it - despite being a perfectly good take otherwise - and it was just horribly consuming time. I was trying to cut them out, piece the recording together, and it worked sometimes, but most of the time it just cut the word off strangely and sounded weird. This trick you showed literally is saving me HOURS of time. Thank you so much.
Thanks for the comment! I know there’s been a pretty long time since you commented, but have you ever looked at iZotope RX? The pencil tool trick is handy for small fixes, but RX is the absolute time saver for everyday audio problems.
Thanks very much for your generosity and time explaining this.
This blew my mind!! thank you!!!
worked like a charm! Thanks :)
Thank you for this! I thought the pencil tool was trash until now...
You.Are.the best!!
