Hello, so I'm a recent appointee to the Prep School (prior E), I want to go Rated eventually but I've heard so little about ABMs. Can you give me a basic rundown? Thank you
i’m glad it worked for you, but OTS should never be Plan A if someone hasn’t finished their degree. USAFA and AFROTC will always be more direct and less competitive.
@@airforceofficerpodcast tell that to all the AFA guys who got dropped last year 😂 get a degree you can succeed in in the civilian sector and then try the airforce. Enjoy the civilian life of college. Non priors get selected yearly.
Except this career field stabs their people in the back in order to advance thier careers. And i know this for a fact. Other than that, cool job with 6 year service commitment which starts after training is complete

Can you commission into this field as a USAF reserve officer? If not what fields are available for reserve officers

How many years are ABMs required to commission?
ABMs have a six year active duty service commitment AFTER they complete UABMT.
