      Whats the tech school graduation rate? I'm very interested but I don't want to end up trying for it if the graduation rate is like 10%

      @@jdamqueen Average class start is usually around 25 people. Usually by the end it could be anywhere from 1-7 people. I have seen prior service even fail the course. Don't be scared of it though. If you really want it you'll get it.

      what is the demand for this role? what bases do these aircraft operate out of?, I know minot operates global hawks. I would be interested in this career as I have an associates degree in RPA

      @@whimsyuav762 As for bases, this is what we got. The bases depend on which Airframe (MQ-9/RQ-4) you get (And what type of service you are in). Airframes are randomly selected, but typically you'll get what you ask for.
      MQ-9
      Active Duty: Creech AFB, Cannon AFB, Ellsworth AFB, Shaw AFB, Whiteman AFB and Hurlburt AFB (Must have at least 2 years service to get this base)
      USAF Reserve: March AFRB, Creech AFB, Hurlburt AFB
      Air National Guard: Ellington Joint Reserve Base, Hancock Field Air National Guard Base, Berry Field Air National Guard Base, Springfield Air National Guard Base, Fargo Air National Guard Base, and Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station.
      RQ-4
      Active Duty: Beale AFB, Grand Forks AFB.

      Bryce So ive talked to some RPA guys I know and they said it’s not difficult it’s just a lot, and just to study all the time. They also said that being able to multitask is a big part of it as well.

    Could you interview someone in the mental health fields? I’m curious as to what they started out as and how long it took them to be able to work hands on and help people. I’d also like to know about the pay just out of curiosity. I really want to help people and mental health is the most important thing for me.
    Btw I’m a long time viewer and you helped me get the courage to talk to a recruiter and then information to help me be prepared. So thank you for helping give me the courage and knowledge i needed to nudge me in the right direction! 🖤

      I assume Space Systems Operations is EXTREMELY hard to get an interview with them considering most if not all the stuff SSO's learn is top secret.

      I had a 95 asvab it was one of the jobs they recommended but we will see.. Not my first choice not sure if there would be any real life application after i left

      @@jleslie1337 Space Systems Operations is good if you wanna work for NASA, SpaceX, etc. They want people with top security clearance, and they pay a lot.

    I failed my depth perception at MEPS, anyone know if I can request to retake it? I played high school sports and know i have depth perception, that test is just ridiculous.

      basic was stressful in 0 week as they want it to be to test the individuals, unfortunately due to covid we were in the dorms the majority of the time. overall a good experience and learning to work as a team was necessary. i got pad crew as a detail which meant i got to hang outside and look at the sunset everyday, which no one else got to do haha

      Yeah because the pass rate is so low, and even if you enlist or retrain into this job the odds of passing the tech school are against you. Look forward to getting forcefully crosstrained into maintenance.

      @@TheToradora97 The pass rates are actually fairly high. Classes of 25+ students enter and roughly 5 per class dont make it through. It's just super lenghty training. You gotta want it.

    Just watched this as I’m am going into this job and I am very nervous for the test and all the studying any tips on how to improve on that. Also what’s the the test about like math and such or more like about the aircraft and stuff like that.

      Jaden Dagostinis make sure you study. You’ll be an aviator so it’s going to be a lot of training on aviation but they have other lessons too. You’ll be fine
