This is a fantastic performance and I have the pleasure of saying that I was at this Pulse concert in 1994 in Earlscourt, London but you also have to hear him play Comfortably Numbe live in Pompeii in 2016 at 70 YEARS OF AGE - MAGNIFICANT
I'm a 72 year old man that has been listening to Floyd since I was 20 in the military . I had never heard them until I was stationed in San Diego . That was all I wanted to hear after the first song I heard I was hooked. Over fifty years later alot wiser still listen to them.
Hi, i'm 69 and have been a Floydy for 50 years now, i flew from Australia to London just for this concert. best decision i ever made. Keep going they have so many great Songs, try Wish you were here, album or concert version. and then Time album version. the lyrics are 100% true 😃😃😃
You have redeemed yourself my friend! I saw this tour and I think most people who did, it made an impression. This whole show is awesome, plenty to mine for content.
"This song does something to you" Yes, Pink Floyd takes you to space whether you want it or not, as long as you can open your ears and shut your (not YOU, literally, but anyone) mouth.
Growing up in the 70's, we didn't have Broadband, Mobile Phones, Social media or Justin Bieber But, we had a "Yin and Yang" Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin that brought balance to our little universe 😂
The ever beautiful David Gilmour 😍. He’s such a low key guy, even with the backdrop of a fabulous light show and the perfect music pouring from him. Loved your reaction, can’t wait to see more of your journey down the PF rabbit hole. It’ll impact ya forever! You’re a cool dude for sure!
@@christymurphy6571 I understand exactly what you mean. I've seen a lot of big names in my life. But I was too young, for example, to see Led Zeppelin, let alone talk about Jimi Hendrix. But I am very happy to see the boys in Berlin, just 200 meters from the wall, in front of the Reichstag (where the German parliament is working again today). That was their last concert before the fall of the Berlin Wall in Germany...
@@christymurphy6571 You would put your money, in the right spot! I traveld 600 km for that concert and it was worth all the effort... I took an overnight train, with my girlfiend at that time. 😉 Oh sweet youth, in the uncompareble 80's...
I’m now 27 but was at this concert when I was younger. I remember it like it was yesterday, seeing here with Waters playing bass and Gilmore on guitar… nothing better.
Top 3 Best Bands of All Time 1. The Beatles 2. Pink Floyd 3. Queen I saw this live in '88, outside, on a hot summer night. The band never sounded better :)
It doesn't get better than Pink Floyd. I honestly can't go a day without listening to at least a little PF. I hope you keep listening because it's life changing stuff that hits your soul. I recommend the albums Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall, and The Division Bell. Some of their songs are pretty long but they always leave you wanting more. Echoes is a 23 minute masterpiece. If you want to hear something of theirs that's harder I recommend Sheep. One of These Days from this same concert is also great. But really, you can't go wrong with whatever you choose. 🤘🏽💗
“Comfortably Numb” is from Floyd’s concept double-album, “The Wall”. It tells the story of a fictional boy named Pink who wants to grow up and be a rock star. Over the four sides he does achieve his dream, but at a high personal cost. Pink has spent his life being hurt, as we all are, and he has learned to build emotional walls to protect himself (hence, the album title). Pink has come to hate his life. He surrounded himself with yes-men and sycophants, with no-one he can trust. To escape his miserable existence he turns to drugs. As the song begins, it’s one night before a concert, and Pink is too stoned to perform. The greedy promoter, horrified at the possibility of having to give refunds, has called in a rando local doctor, to see if he can do something to sober Pink up enough to play. The first voice we hear is the doctor, trying to assess Pink’s condition. The dreamy choruses are Pink, trying to respond, as he’s able. (The song is based on an incident bassist Roger Waters experienced while on tour. In Roger’s case, it was hepatitis, not drugs, he was diagnosed with before a show in Philadelphia.) The first solo is while Pink is still stoned, and it’s soaring and blissful. But the second solo is after Pink has been ‘sobered up’, and has to face the life he hates, and David Gilmour’s masterful guitar skills make as feel Pink’s pain, and fear, his aching loneliness, and his self-inflicted rage at what he’s done with his life. This performance has been called one of the greatest ever recorded. But in truth this entire concert was spectacular, and you can choose any song from this show and trust that it will be a great performance, while also a visual feast for your viewers. I had the pleasure of seeing this tour with 65,000 friends, and it was even better than it looks. Well worth additional reactions.
It's easy to explain. O lot of music, is made to move your butt, which is complete fine. And some music is that much intense, goes so deep, that it touches your soul. And exact that is the case here!
Had to subscribe because of your heart felt into. Your kindness and patience for us die hard PF fans is much appreciated! Glad you liked the song. I meditate to it. 😂 Looking forward to more. 😊
Pink Floyd= Another Brick in the Wall, Dire Straits= Money for Nothing, Eagles=Hotel California. The songs gave them rock legend status. Introduce these youngsters to the good stuff man.
Friendly suggestion, when they’re playing live especially this Pulse concert, keep your eyes open. It’s a visual experience as well. Closing your eyes from studio tracks is just fine, even suggested.
You don't need to apologise for pausing (it's your reaction channel)😉 As an "older" PF fan I would recommend going back to a transitional moment. Pink Floyd "Echoes" (Part 1) live at Pompeii 1972 ua-cam.com/video/TToiePXjuR8/v-deo.htmlsi=bvzBSyr2WOXJIXtC No Audience, No Lights, No Pyrotechnics just Gods playing to the Gods
Any PINK FLOYD song you do for now on? PULSE CONCERT '94. But now I get the deck of cards shirt you wear. Because your facial expressions never changed the whole song. I would hate to play poker with you.🤣🤣
Ok Huda now you found the only contender to Tom for me with Floyd, you found the best... to round the top 3 would be Bob Marley! HOG fam in da house 🔥 53 y.o.rocker
IM A 66 YEAR OLD VETERAN FROM THE MARINES . PINK FLOYD IS THE BAND I LIKE DAVID GILMORE BETTER THEN ROGER WATERS & HIS POLITICAL VIEWS . BUT DO EMIT HIS WALL CONCERT IN PORTLAND WAS GOOD. OR MAYBE IT WAS THOSE 4 MAGIC COOKIES I ATE & 12 ROWS BACK. GREAT BIRTHDAY PRESENT $ 400 TICKET.
Can you react to the band lit song is miserable not many people have done it be interesting to see what you think. Also check out radiohead song is creep. And thanks for taking the time to react keep up the good work.
I hope that you will check out the entire Pulse concert, it is the most awe inspiring concert I've ever witnessed, I'm sure you will most likely agree with me, looking forward to more soon !! God Bless
Please Please listen to Dark side of the Moon for so many more of those Amazing warm feelings and vibes you experienced . Please listen ASAP!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☑️
This was the 2nd encore and 2nd last song after more than 2 hours of this quality. They made the audience " comfortably numb" and then hit them in the face with " Run Like Hell " to end the night and send them home.

Never pause during a guitar solo…it’s sacrilegious 🇨🇦🖖🏻❤️
From the same PULSE collection, please check out SORROW, and also RUN LIKE HELL.
100% and high hopes at pulse! Then you will be ready for Echoes live at Pompeii

David Gilmour guitar master 😊.
The only thing that matters in the end is if it moves you or not 'roger waters' this was his specialty in pink floyd.
