I have a question regarding step up rings with the Kase ND Filter set. I need a 112 mm filter set. I have other lenses that take a 82, 77 and 62mm filters. Am I forced into purchasing the Kase step up rings or can I purchase another brand step up ring? I am guessing the generic would work and I would have to screw the Kase Magnetic adapter to the step up so the magnetic filters would work but without seeing them in person I am not sure. Would that work? Thank you for your assistance.
Thank you for making this informative video 🙏 Now I feel strongly positive to purchase the “Kase Revolution 112mm Magnetic Filter Mega Set”, do produce more videos 👍
Outstanding review. I am considering buying them for a Canon R5, on an 82mm lens. You never mentioned how to purchase this. Do you have to buy based upon which size lens, or is there any camera brand issues, or do they not work based upon that? I hope you provided an affiliate link, so you get a small commission. Thank you, and I am a new subscriber.
Thank you very much Delighted you enjoyed it ! Yes you buy based on the lens diameter, I went for the 95mm as it fits my biggest lens the sigma 150-600 and then got step up rings for my other lenses so I can use the same filters There’s link in the description :-)
what about a lens hood? i don't shoot without one. i saw there is one by Kase and it sounds like people say it works as long as it's not used on a super wide angle lens (without vignetting).
Hi Darren, a great video, buddy! I absolutely like Kase filters and especially the KW Revolution system. The glass quality is top, with no noticable colour cast, but I like especially the good usability and the fact that they listen to their clients and adapt their products to make them from good to stunning. Amazing what difference just the colour-coded rings make out in the field, don't they? Thank you for the video. Nice greetings, Christian
Lovely little video D, I'm sure it will be of real benefit to all those photographers just starting out on their photographic journey. Hav a good 'un 🙏🙏🙏
This was a fantastic demonstration on filters and undoubtedly one of the best videos I've seen in years. Most presenters on UA-cam spend 90% of the time babbling. Consequently, it is painful to watch their videos. Thanks very much for this explanation.
It is videos like this that do not give the whole picture that cause many photographers to be out of pocket. The other side of this filter system can be seen in the Nick Page video "A better magnetic filter system". All I can say is I have wasted over 1000€ on filters that fall off and Kase will not resolve the issue after 10 months of trying. Becoming very tired of reviews where product is sent out free and mugs like us end up paying good money for inferior quality products. The credibility of the reviewer has to be called into question, unless of course you would like to contibute to my loss or help me get my money back?
I hope you’re not questioning me in this statement? If you are then I’d like to hear your specific grounds for that accusation! I’m still using these to this day without issue and no loss in magnetic so unless you want to compensate me for my hardship I’d suggest you find another channel to troll
@@DarrenJSpoonley Apologies if you feel questioned or accused, my issue is only with Kase filters and a balance about the product. I am trying to put together a video to the Benny Hill music with the filters falling off and would be very happy for you to coat it as my abilities in that area are poor, but I would not feel offended. Because you are not experiencing an issue, it does not mean it does not exist. If you have watched the video from Nick Page you are now informed of the situation and can decide, if or how you promote the product in the future. Your integrity will decide what you mention or omit. How you do that is not for me to say, totally your decision. Apologies, I don't know what a troll is ( I know about b-roll, but not much) and if I knew your hardship, if within my gift, I would be happy to compensate you - it's such a good feeling when you can help someone rather than misleading them - would you agree?
Great video and demonstration of the filters. I am very much in the market for for a whole new filter system and these Kase filters have been on yhe radar for a good while.
great explanation so much handier and les bulky than the Cokin set up I have ! Il have to be good between now and xmas to get back in Santy,s good list 😀
Got the old and now the new. Think it's great filters but the front cap on the new one is too strong magnetic and too thin. Use the CPL filter a lot and every time I take the cap off to take a picture the filter comes with it. It's a shame because they are otherwise fine filters.

I’m not sure
It would need to be able to have the filter attach to it magnetically so might have to be the kase version

Really, really helpful. Thank you. You’ve helped me make the decision to get some Kase filters.

I don’t remember the last time
I used a hood however these new versions of the filters come with an adaptor ring that will allow you to use a hood

Excellent video Darren. Looks a brilliant set up. Having just invested a lot of money in NISI, I will stick with them for awhile.
