While this is good - and it is, don't get me wrong - I feel like the recovery option could have been more clear? It says +13 bricks, when +1 row is a better descriptor. It only ever adds a whole row at a time, and using smaller numbers makes it more readable (e.g. sometime in the middle, when monochrome had 500-something bricks, I wondered how many rows that was, but it's tricky to divide by 13 in one's head when the numbers are constantly shifting. 40-something, I think?).

Felt bad for both worms. This must have been stressful '- - . On the other hand, the way they are coded to always crawl to the highest layer is incredibly interesting to observe! But poor worms...

The worms didn’t even seem like enemies, they just looked like they were both fighting to survive. One of the only videos on this channel I didn’t pick a side.

Those worms are truly masters of balance
Even able to reposition themselves with falling bricks after they went flying
Rainbow and Monochrome; the two colors so strong together, they had to be separated for our own safety.
The black-and-white color reminded me of gold from Lost Silver
remember when they combined? That was the strongest team up in terms of visual appeal. I ship Rainbowchrome

They were strong because their were competing against each other so much
I like this one for the sheer possibility that one side *could* win before recovery becomes an option. I've been a very broken record in other videos about how early game content has been pointless and almost not fun to watch because of how useless the earliest effects are at creating a lasting impression on a team's end result, both on the field and in accelerating the team's reaching the upgrades. This one didn't have that feeling. It was enjoyable from the very first cannon shot.
I like that you think that, but they both literally just sat on tiny-ass piles of bricks before the recovery was available. None of the weapons were able to take out that final layer or toss them into the lava. This was essentially what you've been a broken record about, lol. It was just better-hidden.
@@Scuuurbs i want to disagree, but i can't make a case for my opinion here without any real stats. That being said, I'm reasonably confident that there is at least one iteration of this map where the damage done by the first attack contributed to the win, while in the others on which I've spoken, i am reasonably confident that there is not.

Eh that's fine. I commented mostly because I felt slightly annoyed once everything was unlocked, because it seemed like nothing but a lucky weapon combo was going to cause either side to fall - which looks to be opposite to the impression you got.

I think it's easier to believe that there's an end to it after you notice how much less frequent the repairs happen after the upgrade barrier is pushed all the way back. When the marbles hit the upgrade barrier, they tend to not go back very far, so it's only right around when the recovery option is unlocked that recovery becomes very common.
Also look at the moment monochrome gets recovery. It was literally less than a second from death

monochrome looked like it had a lead early on, but rainbow was ahead in weapon progression the whole time and that made the difference

This reminds me of Monochromes first appearance, fighting good ol' Rainbow. The game is even similar.
at the very start chromatic's worm almost fell, it would of been hysterical if it just ended in 5 seconds

What I love about Milan is that you can tell they run the same simulation multiple times to get a really entertaining match, as well as make a separate thumbnail to not spoil it.
Btw if you wanted to upload the ‘extra’ runs on a second channel or something, I’m sure people would be interested

Great video! I noticed its not quite a fair fight though, rainbow's abilities unlock quicker than monochrome.
That’s just because Monochrome was slow with the marbles. Monochrome could have easily unlocked faster.
One of the things I've noticed about some of your "Upgrade" maps is that the early stages tend to be a bit boring when not too many upgrades are unlocked. That is definitely not the case here, as the Concentration weapon is capable of dealing some impressive-looking damage even by itself. This is your best castle destruction map yet!

At the end of the video marbles went flying!
After deciding that Mono and Rainbow are too strong a team, Mikan decided to pit them against one another.
When you think it will end in the first 3 minutes but the video is 9 minutes long: "something ain't right here"
This match was the MOST STRESSFUL MATCH
Tbh this is my favorite castle destruction reasons:
1: the first shot is not a single shot, it is a quad shot
2: instead of a core, you now only have the lower the castle down near the lava to win
3: you can repair(add) bricks to the castle
4: the worms crawl back if it’s near the lava
