I’ve used the hot glue method for a thick pair of socks, it ended up feeling the hard glue under my foot. So I would suggest making sure the slipper sole is well padded if using hot glue. I really like the shelf liner for non slip sole. Great tutorial though. Thank You! Can’t wait to make these for my grandbabies!
GREAT idea!! Can it be adapted for adults? My granddaughter is going to have my first great grandchild soon. Will I have a couple of adopted grandchildren who have great grandchildren too. I just thought it might be really special to make a pair of little slippers for the baby next year and a pair for her to match. I don't know that the dad would be interested. 💕Namaste🐞🥰
I have also thought that I wouldn't mind a pair like this myself. I'll put that on the list of designs. You could use my basic slipper pattern and just make the ankle opening smaller and then add a cuff in the same manner.
Oh goodie. Glad I am done with all the self binding blankets for my grandbabies cause this is my new obsession. One question. Can you still wash and dry them with the hot glue or puff paint on soles? Low temp or hot temp glue? Thank you Jan, love, love this one.

I would use low heat in dryer or air dry.
