I’m loving the Porsche too. So rewarding to turn in and the brakes and engine sound is👌 It’s the cat’s pyjamas.
Loving it as always!! One thing I wanna suggest is reminding us what sim/game you're playing at the start of the video, which you're usually pretty good at remembering. Some people who can't tell the difference between iracing, acc, automoballista, etc. dont know

In my whole life playing racing games, Bathurst has always been my favorite track. I’d love to get out there one day to watch a race.

That angel is back again haha. I think it's one of the best positions to be in. You can always decide to go for that next position or just keep it steady. Seeing from the position you started with as well as the pace, that would've been fine as well. Goes to show how patience and just being steady pays off once more.

Almost every corner is easy to misjudge
I guess I never drove there without getting any damage on the car
But I absolutely love to watch ppl like you, who got the car way better under control than me, driving insanely quick there

Im really enjoying this series on iracing, it always gives me insiration to go and try that combo. I like that you mix up the class you race each week, it keeps it interesting even if it is not the as good for your irating!

Now I realise that this must have been filmed before Tuesday as Mount Panorama was the week 10 track. Shame I didn’t notice it was mount panorama, I do enjoy that track, although it is not good for my safety rating 😁

Awesome track/car combo, one of my favourites.
But wow, I'm surprised how outdated this track looks in iRacing compared to Automobilista 2.
The trees/skies/grass/lighting, everything really look like it's from an another era if you're used to/spoiled with AMS2 graphics.
This is one of my favourite iRacing combos. I raced it many times that week - did not finish a single race. Got murdered every time. So annoying when people show up who have simply never practiced. And I can't believe iRacing still haven't fixed the "leader has gone off in Hell Corner" bug after all these many many many years.
I love the content and its immersion. I wish there was more traffic though. Starting farther back, we get to see you catch people and those engagements are always entertaining. Otherwise, it’s just visually pleasing footage of you lapping Bathurst.
Can’t really manufacture entertaining races when it’s against real people. You’d be amazed how many don’t make the cut.
@@boostedmedia Just don’t qualify, then race your way through the field. Even clean passes are better than lonely, gapped lapping! In either case, I love the vids, so keep it up.
Man I hope I can upgrade my future sim rig to be like that one day.

Probably should have done more than 3 races there last week, was good for the iRating and now at a personal high - safety rating has taken a bit of a beating but was at A4.99 after Nords 24 so it's becoming a cycle for me between endurance races lol

Oh god I can't tell where the screen ends and the set up starts. Do you wear a helmet when you drive or just a gopro strap?

iRacing does look good, but in the end I had to delete it, 2-3 times a week it's asking for payment for another track or a car or whatever. It got expensive really quick. Does ACC have VR? Never tried that game. Can I track race with a 350mm rally steering wheel though?
question about the go-pro hero 10 your using, i notice your sound is great, do you have a mic plugged into the cam or it picking up from cam itself?
The voice is straight off the GoPro. The game audio is recorded separately and added in when I edit the video. So they’re two seperate channels. That way if I say something stupid or cough or something I can edit it out. Also means I can edit out all the shifter clicks.

No worries. I used to record my voice with an expensive shotgun mic but one day it failed and all I had was the audio on the GoPro. Found that it actually sounded more authentic like a helmet cam. So I’ve been doing it that way since.
yeah your car audio sounds great thats why i was asking if it was natural from cam or recorded by mic. good racing always enjoy watching

I must get myself 4k projectors, the graphics really pop and must add a ton to the immersion. I think you may have seen my Hard Rubbish Rig, dynamic lighting I created recently. I would enjoy seeing you try my method in the future. Im sure it would be a cherry on the cake of your rad environment.

I like all sims for their own merits, but the feeling of weight transfer, the way the front loads up and the back ges light down the mountain in RFactor 2 has basically ruined this circuit for me in all other sims. RF2 is really the only sim I've ever been able to totally lose myself in and forget I'm sitting in front of my computer

why does youre ver of iracing looks so mutch more better ? i have everything cranked at it looks like dogshit car looks good but if trees was purple i wouldnt be able to tell its a tree...
