Could you try and beat Schumacher's Pole Lap at Nürburgring GP Circuit 2004 with his Ferrari F2004? That would be cool to see as both are available in Assetto Corsa!

Well it was a McLaren-Mercedes so at least half of it is ;(
I'd guess when a new engine reg comes in, or when the aero becomes king again, which was when Mclaren was last doing well.
Starscream_xxx Well, Redbull had a Renault engine and they were keeping up with Mercedes and Ferrari, and keeping up well by the second half of the season. Well, at least Verstappen’s Redbull was (cries in shoey). Anyway I think they’ll do better this year, not top three better, but better nonetheless.
Starscream_xxx I just said they’ll be faster than the Ferraris just to cash in on the meme.
So I just came from a Nico Rosberg vídeo with the McLaren Senna with the actual Mika Hakkinen, to see a T H I C C British boi beat him in AC. I fkn lov ya Jimmer!

Not gonna lie, that step-up in commentary cadency together with the car's pace on the 3rd lap got me on the edge of my seat. And kept me there until the finish line! Very well done, Mr. Broadbent, very well done!

He already did once. Can't remember the title of the video, but it was a McLaren (from late 90's iirc) on some gravel rally track.

okay so basically, melbourne is one of the best grand prix tracks on the calendar. not great for overtaking, but such a fun track to drive
apart from not really since there are other tracks that are fun to drive and have good overtaking like silverstone, spa, suzuka
@@nanderlizernanderlizer684 Suzuka is not really great for overtaking. The 130R kinda breaks the tow when you're following another car closely, and that makes overtaking at the Casio Triangle really difficult. Apart from that, the track lacks long straights and hard braking zones anyway.

It might be that the track is a little too fast because there's much more in it, but on other tracks the RSS 2000 is a bit more accurate on pace. Car might be a bit quick to start with at Albert Park though since RSS wanted to find a middle ground between early and late season development.
During this era (late 90's-00's) Mika Hakkinen, to me was God. At the age of 13 I experienced my first F1 GP at Albert Park in the year 2000. my hero carrying the No.1, blitzed pole position and was all but untouchable all weekend ...couldn't have asked for anything more...life was sweet...until raceday!!
That weekend was the definitive moment the MS-ferrari dynasty started,it was also the definitive moment I realized that I hate MS and Ferrari because they ruined my 13th dirthday fairytale of witnessing a live McLaren victory...twas not to be.

And i thought i was the only one to love melbourne track ! Just like you i was too young to know how to choose a track or just picked the first one i remember always picking schumacher and albert park i was on F1 2004 on the ps2...i remember i wasnt good at all at the time but i simply didnt care same story for gt4 where i was picking whatever car the game was showing me there was so many of them...Good old days i guess
It happen to me too but still this track isnt really my favorite, but when i became good enough to get it right this track is fairly good honestly

Häkkinen and Australia. From his crash in Adelaide in '95 to winning in Melbourne in '98. So many memories.
AFAIK The track hasn't changed since 1996 but they might have resurfaced it a couple of times. And let's not forget this is a sim of a 20 year old car/track.
PS. The Ferrari F2004 did a 1:24.125.

When you record a VR perspective, it usually takes the recording from one eye. So it’s probably just the view from the left eye.
Hi Jimmy! Can you make a video of trying to drive modern f1 car with one hand, like Kubica will in this season? Really interesting to watch how one-handed driver will cope steering and change settings in really bad conditions, like heavy rain in Monaco GP for example.

Will never be real Cuz of the amount of force on the driver will under any circumstance mostly be lethal. If not. One mistake will be lethal
@@theracingdaedra6868 in any racesport one mistake could be lethal..and the majority of the fans want the cars faster and faster so it could be real one day..ure right there arent just pro arguments on such a beast of a car..con's as well..the horrific speed.. but if u can handle it u 're deserving honor..this could be the future of formel sport but there has to be sth like an agreement to limit the cars..if i would have the chance to drive a car like this i would do this
You can actually hear by the sound its not the Merc. The Mercs always had a very specific sound.
Yeah I noticed this. I was watching Coulthard leave the pits once and the sound it made! It was warbling but in a fantastic way. Almost alien.

Try the SRT Tomahawk X, it has 3000bhp and weighs 800kg, is capable of lapping the green hell in 3.20 minutes

how do software developers model the "exact" performance of F1 cars that don't disclose their stats and mechanical setup?
It is indeed a mod by rss studios. (I think jimmer says that in the video). They probably just tweak some parameters of the car so it produces lap times close to the cars real counterpart. So the cars are not modelled exactly right, but there pace is about equal

@jonny j Maybe you should read op's comment again. He asked how it's made if the cars tech isn't disclosed. Then the only option is guess work. I know they can go and look at old footage and so on, and they get damn close. But it's still guess work, it's how they think it would be to drive. Don't get me wrong, I love rss cars, but no, it's nothing like real cars. It's only a game mate.
