I do like the soft top conversion. I saw one where they had to use series split doors. Also there’s one on eBay at the moment with sliding windows. Is this the same kit you’ve used here? Many thanks
Nice job sir… One technical question… When you bolt the bar to the chassis, did you put some sort of pad underneath ? Like a rubber pad between the rollcage and the chassis ..!? 🤔 I asking because THESE points could be moving and wiggle a little and scratch the surface and then corrosion would start in earnest. Greetings from Germany everybody A owner of a 110 HT 💪 PS. she looks beautiful 😍
We didn't but that would have been a really good idea. In the past, for these kinds of installs I have used an old bicycle inner tube and cut to shape, which has worked well as they are not too thick.
Yep, this is the one job Simon had and he drilled them all out before painting them. So when I arrived we had no choice. Should be ok for a a few years though.
Great advice regarding the shrinkage!
Nice video! THX!!! 😊

Those hooks on the side rails are the only part carried from S1 though to TDCI defender
I wish there was a part that had also carried through to the new Defender!
Looks like you put the tie-down tabs on the side backwards. That's going to chafe your rope!
