I have a theory about the broken capsules, it could be that the robots that escaped were CUT MAN and WOOD MAN because they fight with them in the Megaman 8
0:58 - That scene always looked to me like Dr Light couldn't stand to look at Mega Man any more, and was asking him to leave just because he didn't want him around. I likened it to a breakup scene in a soap opera, for some reason. In the Junk Man elevator section, it's easier if you shoot the motor from the right side. That makes the left elevators go up, making the ladder jump to the Rush Jet easier.
Dr. Wily: FEAR MY CRAZY EYEBROWS OF DOOM! Mega Man: *Bursts out in uncontrollable laughter* Dr. Wily: *Absconds with Guts Man* Proto Man: YOU IDIOT! YOU LET HIM GET AWAY!!!
You know that the side from which the Thunder Bolt is fired at the machine affects how the platforms move, right? It's much easier to get Rush Jet with the platforms going the other way...
IIRC, if it's stationary already, I think you can slide into Mash's head to "kick it around" and keep it away from the body. It also keeps it bouncing and in Buster range. But it has to be a total standstill first.
Dr Light: Wily and his robots are rampaging in the middle of the city! Mega Man: *teleports to four more random levels instead of the middle of the city*
I'm sure the broken capsule in the middle of the museum was where Guts Man was before Wily took him. I always like to think that the 2 broken ones in the boss room had Cut Man and Wood Man in them since they appear in Mega Man 8 for Sega Saturn. Also, next time shoot the machine with Thunder Bolt from the right side instead of the left and the elevators will go the other way around. Makes getting the jet easier. -Old School Video Game King-
A simple answer to that would be rematches. The Robot Masters get rebuilt for rematches, and I believe it states somewhere on the Mega Man Wiki that Mega Man tries to avoid completely destroying the RMs.
I think from looking around my best bet would be the Adaptec Gamebridge. I looked on Amazon, I found it there, it was about $70 or so. The main thing there that's promising is I've seen a video that gives step by step instructions on getting it to work with Vista. I don't actually know of anything that is made specifically FOR Vista, I haven't heard of such.
Notice how there are *3* broken capsules, first is obvious, 2nd and 3rd are in the boss battle room. Who broke out? First is Gutsman, obviously. The other two are Cutman and Woodman, soon to appear on the Saturn version of Megaman 8.
~Jesters of the moon~ I didn't know you were an FF fan :o Then again you may not, just thought the music was good XD but if so then you are even more awesome :D
He probably came in through the door that Mega Man is now blocking and that he wouldn't have been able to fit through with Guts Man hanging from the saucer
Not quite. You can move while equipped with Jewel Satellite, unlike Leaf Shield. You controll when Jewel Satellite gets thrown, and meanwhile can run around with it protecting you.
I haven't played 8 in quite awhile, I know Sword Man might anyway, but the main issue is I can't record from consoles currently, I don't have the proper equipment for such, or the money to get it. If I had such, I'd love to record both 8 and 9, as well as several non Mega Man games I have, but alas, I don't have what I need.
You should have shot the elevator battery with the Thunder Bolt facing left instead of right. That would have flipped the elevators, making the left one go up instead of down, therefore making the leap to the Rush Jet stair far easier.
Hmm, the two broken capsules in the back. Could Wily have taken Cut Man and Wood Man and put them ready in place on a SEGA Saturn copy of Mega Man 8. :O
So dr Wily was planing to do an uber robot master... Elecman+Quickman+Needleman+Brightman= A robot who volley big damageful shots with no pattern at all, a lot of stamina and capable of time stoping I think now i undestand the reason why you were scared...
Nope, that's Quint. Know how you can tell...I'M SCARED!!! I have that feeling like he's out there, hidden in some sort of cave that we can't find...plotting the end of the world.
Only in the sense that I know them over the internet and that's real? As mentioned in the FAQs vid, I'm in Texas, Kit's in Florida, Shagg's in Georgia, and Pink's in Canada, so none of us have ever met in person.
Actually, I referred to Colorman as Clownman for the longest time, thinking he was a botched translation, like with Yamatoman/Japanman. Nice job on Mash; I agree, the stage is cool, the boss, not so much...
There should actually be any reason to be scared. Elec Man, Quick Man, Needle Man, and Bright Man where all kept in the back storage room, in a locked safe/room or were disassembled some time ago.
Curiosity question about the "secondary" Junk Man route: I found out recently that if you don't turn on the machine in the vertical section, the platforms line up perfectly with the ladders and all three have a Spiral Gabyoall in a tight patrol area. So, without turning the machine on, how do you think that might affect the difficulty? I wonder if it would be as bad as the double Garyoby/Togehero section in Cossack 3 of Mega Man 4. Thoughts?
Roahm, in the room where you fight Mash, in the background with skullman and ringman, there's also 2 other smashed capsules. I know the one that was broken contained GutsMan, but what do you think those other 2 capsules held?
How come Capcom has never made a robot master that was essetially a compilation of previous robot masters. It would give reason to reuse the robot museum.
::shrug:: I don't care what others think. Jewel Man happens to be my favorite, plus Jewel Satellite is one of the most useful weapons in the entire series in my opinion.
Yeah it is Quint cause he's shorter & looks like he has a vis... I mean that "is Quickman. i'snt it obvious." Okay can I go now? Quickman with kidnapped tiedup Lan & Heatman: *smiles* I'll check back in 24 hours. Sonic101: ..... dr. light?
I go by the names from the game. The game is correct, as it came first. The proper names are also used in the Japanese version of the anime. It's only the horrid English dub version that changed names ridiculously.
you know, some of my favorites Robot masters din't made to the Navi Mode (and some looks really bad (Heatman....you were cute and now you're a devil?!))...clownman was one of the wished ones... Crash, Clown, a better Cutman... (let's face it, the cutman brothers are good enough, but not as the normal good and old cutman...) and of course Astro... oh well, at least i have Knigth, Shadow and Tomahawk... did capcom missed one of your favorites roahm?
I have a theory about the broken capsules, it could be that the robots that escaped were CUT MAN and WOOD MAN because they fight with them in the Megaman 8
Only on Sega Saturn version
That's a cool theory!
Funny that Wily didn't take Skull Man, considering the whole skull motif. Then again, Wily is hard for Guts Man.
Right, I'm considering that, and I might have to play Shade Man's stage twice anyway.
Those two capsules in the boss room had Cut Man and Wood Man before Wily stole them.

Wait, did cossack make his robot masters shells and donated them to the museum or what?
Dr. Wily: FEAR MY CRAZY EYEBROWS OF DOOM!
Mega Man: *Bursts out in uncontrollable laughter*
Dr. Wily: *Absconds with Guts Man*
Proto Man: YOU IDIOT! YOU LET HIM GET AWAY!!!
Big kudos for using one of the better themes from FF9. Though I did hate fighting those two guys if memory serves. >:/
I love the use of Zorn and Thorn's theme!
i like the new snow feature thing the best thing to come from youtube in a while...
You know that the side from which the Thunder Bolt is fired at the machine affects how the platforms move, right? It's much easier to get Rush Jet with the platforms going the other way...
Ah, I didn't know that about the elevator, thank you.
The three Robot Master themes used for this stage is a medley of Guts Man, Heat Man, & Snake Man.
Couldn't resist X)
"And why would anyone bar the outside of the bathroom door?"
That's what I want to know. *Jeopardy theme plays* Oh, no!
Hafta wonder if these are reconstructed originals or semi-functional replicas
IIRC, if it's stationary already, I think you can slide into Mash's head to "kick it around" and keep it away from the body. It also keeps it bouncing and in Buster range. But it has to be a total standstill first.

It's a reference to the Ruby Spears cartoon, one of Dr. Light's most infamous lines.
I believe rennex is referring to my referencing the infamous "why would anyone bar the outside of the bathroom door?" line.
A simple answer to that would be rematches. The Robot Masters get rebuilt for rematches, and I believe it states somewhere on the Mega Man Wiki that Mega Man tries to avoid completely destroying the RMs.
You can use danger wrap on the head when it's on the ground.
CircusMan was a Navi in Megaman Battle Network 6.

Oh man, Jesters of the Moon from FFIX? That's one of my favorite tracks from that OST! : D
Hey! I saw six Quickmen in the background!
That's even worse.
Bass is awesome!
Oil Man is fairly cool, Jewel Man is my absolute favorite though.
~Jesters of the moon~ I didn't know you were an FF fan :o Then again you may not, just thought the music was good XD but if so then you are even more awesome :D
1:36 needle man?
He probably came in through the door that Mega Man is now blocking and that he wouldn't have been able to fit through with Guts Man hanging from the saucer
The eagles in Ninja Gaiden, Mobys from Zelda 2, ravens from Ghosts 'n Goblins, crows from Resident Evil, Air Screamers from Silent Hill...
Um...isnt that quickman to the right of the broken capsule waaaaay in the background? I mean that looks like a boomerang on his head...
Indeed yes, a heavily modified Guts Man is the first fortress stage boss.
Indeed they did. I was happy to have Magic and Shadow around, but they missed Crystal Man.
Not quite. You can move while equipped with Jewel Satellite, unlike Leaf Shield. You controll when Jewel Satellite gets thrown, and meanwhile can run around with it protecting you.
Why would anyone bar the outside of the bathroom door? XD
You can reach the head when it's on the floor if you shoot out a charged blast
That was so long ago... Did we ever reach a conclusion as to exactly what it was you required?
"And why would anyone bar the outside of a bathroom door..? Oh no!"
Haha, perfect.

if you listen closley to the robot museum theme, you can almost hear a little of guts mans stage.
You don't say.
They're both good. I enjoy them both probably about the same level, that's why they both got that rating.
The Junk Man path probably, just by default since there were more enemies on that path. Mash is pretty easy to fight.
FF9 "Jesters of the Moons" = most epic win sir dragon : )
Guts Man and Blizzard Man rule. This level proves I am NOT alone in my opinion.
You should have shot the elevator battery with the Thunder Bolt facing left instead of right. That would have flipped the elevators, making the left one go up instead of down, therefore making the leap to the Rush Jet stair far easier.
All hail Pharaoh Man: King of DISCO!!!
Hmm, the two broken capsules in the back. Could Wily have taken Cut Man and Wood Man and put them ready in place on a SEGA Saturn copy of Mega Man 8. :O
So dr Wily was planing to do an uber robot master...
Elecman+Quickman+Needleman+Brightman= A robot who volley big damageful shots with no pattern at all, a lot of stamina and capable of time stoping
I think now i undestand the reason why you were scared...
Do you see what became of Gutsman later in the game?
@TheCyberios I'm guessing it's Quint.
Indeed, I believe there is a fan theory stating such.
Nope, that's Quint. Know how you can tell...I'M SCARED!!! I have that feeling like he's out there, hidden in some sort of cave that we can't find...plotting the end of the world.

1:36 want theme is it
Kinda late but that Part was Snake Man.
@RoahmMythril HAHAHA! Nice megaman cartoon series reference!! :D Cracked me up! :D:D:D
Roahm VS The Clown with The Tear-away Face, but he was not here in a flash and took too long to be gone without a trace!
Oh my god it's the Clown With the Pull Off Face from Nightmare Before Christmas!
@scimpanze1000 It appear a remake of 1-3 some is called Wily wars some has good graphics.
Actually, I referred to Colorman as Clownman for the longest time, thinking he was a botched translation, like with Yamatoman/Japanman.
Nice job on Mash; I agree, the stage is cool, the boss, not so much...
Why does Dr. Light's equipment look like Auto.
Might be the other way 'round
Wow, this is basically what Bounce Man in MM11 is like but easier and no speed gear.
I know for a fact that you need to use the thunder claw weapon from clownman to get through search man's stage
"Robot Museum" just seems like a bad idea. Let's preserve this stuff for Wily to steal and reprogram again!
There should actually be any reason to be scared. Elec Man, Quick Man, Needle Man, and Bright Man where all kept in the back storage room, in a locked safe/room or were disassembled some time ago.

Michael Li Well, if the Saturn version of MM8 is anything to go by, maybe he got Cut Man and Wood Man out of there?
Ah, I don't actually know much of anything about PS emulators, I've never worked with them.
Man, I glad you don't Play Mega Man X. Your no charging philosophy would dive me nuts. Here it's okay.
no charge Wheel gator, it takes an hour!
SorryIdrinkCoffee oh sh#t.
I love this song from FF9.
you sure are real fan of him
wily took gutsman, cutman and woodman ran away to fight megaman in mm8. that explains those 3 broken glasses
1:24 hey where is guts man 1:50 theif and who other two
Silliest obligatory timewaster boss ever.
Least it's not a Devil...
How come Capcom has never made a robot master that was essetially a compilation of previous robot masters. It would give reason to reuse the robot museum.
Actually, Guts Man was Dr. Light's creation, Wily stole him along with the rest of the first generation.
Wily's eyebrows... (shrieks)
Clowns scare the hell out of me.
Well, they are robots, I guess they can be rebuilt.
3:20 no clown man? just wait until megaman 8.
The famicom version also loses points for me since it doesn't feature the Robot Museum, which has one of my favorite songs in the series.
As well they should! Clowns are evil.
I was born in Texas, but raised by elder Scottish relatives.
::shrug:: I don't care what others think. Jewel Man happens to be my favorite, plus Jewel Satellite is one of the most useful weapons in the entire series in my opinion.
circus man? i've heard of clownman, but circusman?
This thing isn't horrifying enough to be the origin of Circusman. He can't become a tent and do horrible things to Megaman.
heads are dangerous, aren't they?
wily has a fansination with gutsman but with eyebrows of dooom anything could happen
Yeah it is Quint cause he's shorter & looks like he has a vis... I mean that "is Quickman. i'snt it obvious." Okay can I go now?
Quickman with kidnapped tiedup Lan & Heatman: *smiles* I'll check back in 24 hours.
Sonic101: ..... dr. light?
nice, ff9 music, my favorite ff game :)

00:36 - 00:39 GAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA XD CLASSIC AGAHAHAH NICE!!
He should have used Jesters of the Moon for Clown Man and not this miniboss
you know, some of my favorites Robot masters din't made to the Navi Mode (and some looks really bad (Heatman....you were cute and now you're a devil?!))...clownman was one of the wished ones...
Crash, Clown, a better Cutman... (let's face it, the cutman brothers are good enough, but not as the normal good and old cutman...) and of course Astro...
oh well, at least i have Knigth, Shadow and Tomahawk...
did capcom missed one of your favorites roahm?
oh no not curcusman, *goes into fetal position* not the tent rape
You sure you don't want to introduce a rating of 0 out of 10? ;-)
OH NO!!!
