Hi Kate, taking antibiotics is not a form of immunity. They can kill or slow down bacteria, but they don't protect against future infections. Immunity is the ability of an organism to resist infections and can be acquired naturally or artificially through vaccination.
Hi there. Directly quoting from the syllabus for paper 0610: “State that a pathogen is transmitted: (a) by direct contact, including through blood and other body fluids (b) indirectly, including from contaminated surfaces, food, animals and air.” I see your potential confusion in this context. While the droplets from a cough can directly reach another person, the term "direct contact" more commonly refers to physical touch or close proximity between individuals.

You said that cough is indirect but thats wrong since coughing is a droplet infecting that is between no vector so direct.

cough droplets infect the air which is a vector.. from their if one takes up that air it is indirect, direct is like HIV-aids or through blood.
what about unit 10.6 drugs??
