I started following you for Tool, discovered Karnivool in the way and now you upload a cover of one of my favourite bands? Man you don't cease to amaze me. Brilliant cover, kinda weird to see one of their songs not played on a six string, but I guess if you already have a guitar with more strings why change the tuning o a six string one haha. Keep the Gojira heaviness coming! :)

I love these covers so much man but how do you think is the best way to get the replicate the *sound* of Gojira for these sets? The clean heavy chugging just doesn't seem possible for me on mine. Granted I'm playing around with digital amps in Rocksmith. For what it's worth I'm on a2009 Ibanez RGT42DX with stock pickups.

Hello, how long does it take you to learn a tool song from scratch (till u master it) and youre able to play it standing still? Because some parts in tool songs take me weeks to play them fluently while standing up.
Hey! Not very long actually, maybe some hours. The only thing that takes a while is the transcribing and syncing part. For me, playing Tool standing up is not more difficult than sitting down, because it's not fast :)
So personally I enjoy the Tool covers, since I'm kinda going through all of their stuff so I like the way you do their covers, very enjoyable to play along to and learn with the tabs and whatnot... BUT that doesn't mean I can't comment on a non Tool cover right? Now I've never heard this song, but dude.... Freaking awesome cover my good sir. 👌🏼😎 I know nothing of the band or the song (sorry 😅) but hey, I can praise talent can't I? Awesome work man 👍🏼
Max's covers are awesome. Even on songs/bands I'm partial to. Nice to see something to introduce me to. The Tab layout is perfect. The see thru is nice.
What I like most, (in which I thought people would have done normally without question, I guess not) is that the Tab doesn't scroll. A line scrolls across instead, which is better. That Tab stays still, so I can see what's going. I have no idea why some UA-camrs have the Tab scroll. It's disorienting. Not how eyes work, imo.

@@gredangeo I highly agree with that. The still tabs are great. Very helpful for learning a section, instead of having to be pausing the video at the exact second, the still tabs help a lot...plus if you want to play along, your eyes moving along the tabs instead of the tabs moving your eyes, is easier to read 😂

Just because the strings are heavier on my 7 string (0.11 string gauge) and I wouldn't play Gojira on a Les Paul :)
