I would have compared the AMG with the 440 xdrive with M package. It's 355HP and a sweet ride. All the pop's you would like in sport mode.

The Mercedes should use a hard top convertible, it would just make the car look so much better
And this is why BMW doesn't have any competition. They have the only hardtop cabriolets (and 4 seat) in the market, beside cheapers cars who doesn't compete with BMW

I have a 440i hardtop convertible. It looks much better, in return for greater weight and less trunk space. Using in sports mode helps, and handling better with top down. Larger engine also helps. Overall, hardtops worth it

what do u mean, so if bmw happen to put m badge right beside 440i and call it m440i, then this would be a fair comparison? i dont see anything not being fair compared in this video, same price, same class, similar horse power, same engine, they are meant to be compete with each other, arent they?
The 43 is a joke not a AMG. Its an upbadged 350.

How in the world do you get an amg c43 to 124890 dollars? That can't be correct, it's way cheaper than that.

BMW is cheaper unless compared with M4. BMW offers a option for AWD (XDrive) a better comparison would have been to us it.

Except they are not, the 440i makes 326hp and the C43 has 362hp. They should've used the 440i MPPK that makes 360hp and has the M Performance exhaust.
How is that BMW's fault, it doesn't make sense, the journalists are supposed to know what they're doing. The 440i is way faster than the C400 so i don't see how their car has "weaker performance" ? They charge you extra for performance exactly like Mercedes (or every company for that matter) does, since the C43 costs about 10 000€ more than the C400.
The M440i will come at the next gen but for the moment, the 440i MPPK is basically the same thing. They shouldn't have done this comparison because it makes no sense. The 440i is way cheaper base vs base even cheaper than the C400 so it was indeed stupid.
I think it's because they are similar in price. BMW has gotten very expensive if you ask me. In the USA I can choose between an M4 or a C63AMG for the same price. The M4 is probably better on the track but I think the Merc offers more fun with its twin turbo V8. M4 should be less money I think.
Only difference ,engine not built by one person. Engine parts and tuning all AMG .Same go's for suspension and transmission and pipes.By the way it dose 0-60 in 4.6 sec .That's .09 seconds less than the c63s
