I bought pj gooseneck years ago I can say they are quality built mine was loaned out and friend lost dozer as he used to small of chain .needless to say it took it very minor damage and used it for many years. My next will be a 20 ton low deck gooseneck. Cheap anint good and good ain't cheap by a pj trust me you wont regret it
There were manufacturers doing the curved neck a long time ago but they stopped doing them, probably mostly due to being able to do the WF beam necks a lot faster if I had to guess.
just bought a 30' er today with 12k axles. We will see how it holds up to equipment. The PJ was a far better deal than Diamond C. More bang for your buck. The monster ramps are too heavy. I will probably try something different there. maybe some good HD Aluminum ramps. But look forward to putting it through its passes.
How much does this trailer weigh? At the 40 second mark it is stated the the GVWR is 25,000lbs, but 15k axles are available and 10k are standard. Going by the video I’m guessing 25k is the maximum GVWR for these trailers, if the trailer shown (44’ with monster ramps), weighs 9,000 lbs (my guess from weight of non “pro beam” trailers), cargo capacity is only 16,000 (8 tons). If I was marketing this I would show a comparison using a scale of the new gooseneck vs the traditional style.
Hey Chris, we are still working through all of the weight differences in configurations, etc. Weights of the new LD in standard configuration can be found on the LD Product Page: pjtrailers.com/trailers/ld-low-pro-flatdeck-with-duals
It only has a 30k rated hitch if its 2 5/16. It also has Diamond C steps along with the Diamond C neck design. This trailer is for the 3500 guys. Not rated enough for the 5500 trucks that can have 10k tong weight. This is a good light duty trailer.
Great question! We are looking to expand the Formed ProBeam Gooseneck and Twist Guard Frame to additional models including the LS - We do not have a date on when that is yet, so keep your eyes peeled!
my question is I order a 35 +5 pj trailer double dually with rated 25000 pounds with 10,000 axes. Im worried How much it gonna weight when I will put it on sale, , Will it be compatible using my ram 3500 dually with 14000 gvwr doing non CDL . If Deleted how much will it show on the sticker .? waiting an answer please. thanks
For the neck, we did an extensive amount of testing with different designs with the focus on building a more modern neck that reduces stress points and increases strength.
It’s like a wish Diamond C😂you directly copied their neck and basic design but are missing the arched deck etc, it literally is seen sagging in advertisement pictures. Did DC buy you guys out🤔
Here from Hotshot Macc…PJ trailers are the best!

I though diamond c patented the arched neck like that
No. A lot of other manufacturers doing that now.

Maybe better deal but not a better product.
GOOD VEDIO,
Harry Jiang from Ningbo Harsco trailer.
I'm hoping 1st of the year to order a new trailer with power tail.
How does the twist guard compare to torque tube?

Is there a distinct weight savings to this new model or is it simply a duplicate of another brands neck design?
For the neck, we did an extensive amount of testing with different designs with the focus on building a more modern neck that reduces stress points and increases strength.
@@officialpjtrailers So is it saving weight?
@@minecraftlover2222 Through design efficiencies, yes, there is an average of a couple of hundred pounds of weight savings.
@@officialpjtrailers tested design lol this is Based of Diamond C how is it different?
How much is this trailer
If this is a cheaper price than a Diamond C then I'll definitely check in.

Hahaha! You copied diamond c with the arch in the neck! So what happened to the arch in the deck? Couldn't copy that? To much for ya? Lol
Diamond c didn't invent engineerd arch .
@@jadams736 they’re the only ones I know of doing it to trailers for pickups. It’s been a thing in big rig trailers for a long time
Now work on better paint
Nice way to copy diamond c if you cant beat em join em
