Nice to see you exploring my home town of Sundsvall, famous for burning down four times and then being rebuilt all in stone in 1888-1891. The city center is now known as the Stone Town, for good reason.
I believe the early hunters and trappers sold their pelts and other trade goods to people known as "factors", thus a "factory" was where a factor did business, and very likely in that region a good portion of goods were related to moose. Bam! Moose Factory.
Södermalm means apprx. "south land/soil", usually in relation to a body of water/town centre. Ö is close to the i in "bird". Kristianstad is pronounced [krɪ'ɧansta]. It doesn't follow standard swedish pronounciation either. One way of knowing the size of a Swedish town is to look at the amounts of floors on the buildings. Stockholm is relatively taller (with 5-6 floors on average), with other towns having an average of 3-4 floors. Of course, the suburbs of Stockholm don't really follow this rule, but they have less old buildings in them. Also, if the town suddenly ends and there's trees, it's probably not Stockholm.
Waiting to hear Sinvicta pronounce Södermalm was tantalyzing.

Noooo I have reached the end of the playlist :(. got hooked over the Christmas break and started watching all the videos. I'll jump to Sinvicta's channel next to keep my fix.
As far as North Africa goes, the only country that has any google maps coverage is Tunisia. As far as the Arabic speaking world is concerned (North Africa and the middle east) there are only a few options: Tunisia. and only the areas along the coast Israel and Palestine (obviously Israel isn't Arabic-speaking, but it's in the area) Lebanon Jordan, and only the areas near the border with Israel UAE, and only the Eastern part of the country around Dubai I'm pretty sure those are the only areas with coverage. Obviously if you have a user-submitted picture it can be in other countries, but those are uncommon, and I'm pretty sure A Diverse World doesn't even include those.
Yeah. Africa also in general has very little representation overall. The most covered nation is (I'd say obviously) South Africa, closely followed by Kenya and Nigeria, with places like Botswana, Ghana, Senegal and, yeah, Tunisia, also having coverage. Even the giant nation Ethiopia has none. That's what I immediately recall, if others have representation it's probably not very broad.
come on NL that Sweden guess broke my heart!! the van in the beginning said "Sundsvall" which you SHOULD KNOW. our lord and savior, my son ELIAS PETTERSSON is from that city.
I totally agree with NL on taboos in American media. Obviously there's no right answer to how much violence and sexual content 'should' be censored, but America's priorities are definitely too focused on one of those and not the other.
I think part of it is that the social taboo against actually committing violence stands in strong opposition to the entertainment presentation of violence, but the same doesn't hold true for sexual behavior.

Unfortunately, Swedish national pride has gone down the drain along with our (their) minds. Now you'll be more likely to find a pride-flag than the national 🙄
The stresses of the day melt away as soon as the magic words are spoken... “Hello Sinvicta”

No wonder i felt something was off in that place. It was the excessive amount of stone, brick and concrete. Looks like an interesting place.
Streets ending with:
"-gatan" = Sweden
"-gata" or "-gate" = Norway
"-gade" = Denmark
Damn, what a Photo Finish. Please never stop doing this series.

You're right NL, Libya does have green on their flag
Underappreciated comment.
4:20 How could you have missed the great town of Prampram (the awesomeness of the timestamp was unintentional)

You're missing episodes 68 and 69 in the count. In Episode 71 at around the 48 second mark they decided to include those retroactively.

Or, instead of replacing one censorship for another, just relax all censorship and let adults decide for themselves.

To be fair, I think other former empires (and current ones) should feel more shame as well.
