Great watch. Not really willing to going down the opening the controller and 3d printing route, but I would like to know any other mods you use/would use. I suppose that leaves me with only swapping out joysticks. If so which do you recommend. Won't be surprised though if there is more I can do without opening the thing up
Hello, I recently ordered the back paddles but the order got damaged in transit. I tried emailing the support email listed under my order confirmation but was notified that the address is invalid. Is there any way we could get in touch? Thank you!
Weird question but if you put the long paddle attachment on upside down so it was pointing towards the front of the controller could it still be used and work properly but maybe pressed by using your middle finger under the controller ?
I've used every version that he has released and they work great. Not sure of your experience with 3d printing but if you have a good printer and know what you are doing they're not "cheaply printed paddles". I haven't broken or even damaged one yet and I use it daily for a few weeks now.
@n64slayer 😂 Let's break it down.. A: It would be am absolute ridiculous waste of time to make these from CF or aluminum as a 1 off piece. WAY overkill. Totally silly. B: You clearly do not understand how these work It would not work at all from aluminum because it is more than a set of paddles. The whole thing acts as a spring. To pull the paddles back in place. CF may work for a while but would eventually splinter and delaminate. You would need plastic or sprint steel. But I repeat...even if you only make the paddles from a stronger material, it's a waste of time. C: The paddles are printed at 100% which, as stated by the other commenter, when done on a properly tuned printer can be strong. Now I agree that EVENTUALLY it would break between layer lines..if i had not been wise enough to design it so that the paddle touched the side of the controller shortly after actuation, preventing it from bending or flexing almost at all. Unless the get caught on something, smashed, or you squeeze with king Kong grip, they will last the lifetime of the controller. And let's say I'm wrong about all of this and they break. I hit a button and come back in 45 minutes and have a new set. I have am embarrassing amount of time on my set and they're still like new. I'd love to see your CF paddles when they're done, though.
Good on you for also releasing the files for download! Appreciate you.
So cool keep doing what you are doing!!!

It's a keyed assembly. All parts are designed to fit one way and one way only.
Will this work on the flydigi apex 4?
I really wanted this mod, but don't know where to buy it😢
@@ahmedabsiyeh381 Hi. You can get them at vader4pro.notus.gg
I would not trust cheaply printed paddles like that, you gonna need a new set every week 💀💀 ill make my own out of carbon fiber or aluminum

@lxMr.Nobodyxl yeah, but it is much weaker than molded plastic either way

@lxMr.Nobodyyxl I appreciate the kind words my friend. Love hearing that you enjoy them.
