Unlike others, I feel like this one has a happier ending since the woman just found herself a new passion that outshines the need for money so much that she barely cared for those.

graverobber: have to poison her husband's drink twice in the minigame, implying in reality she likely poisoned him over the course of several days.
Also graverobber: "Darn, I was so impulsive!"

so, is this implying that after she robbed the graves... she just ran? they found an empty house with all the loot in it, and she was gone. I mean GR might have fr just been like "screw being rich, I wanna live for the thrill"
dunno if I should be proud or disappointed. guess she did get pretty good at sneakin and trap disarm lol

That's my theory, anyway. The thrill of sport became more important than the risk of punishment. Understandable, give her state of affairs when her husband was still around.
Being slain by watchmen for tomb-robbing was at least slightly more meaningful than being beaten to death by her spouse in one of his drunken rages.

@@rando5638 I mean, was he really going to beat her to death? Judging by her quote and how all of the characters are flawed and are known to make mistakes, except maybe the Leper, she might have just seen this from her own perspective. Anyway, Im pretty sure she couldve solved it without the murder but the narrative demanded it.

I'm not entirely understood the ending. Did she left the rings that she robbed from his corpse?
    - "... The glint in her eyes outshining the fistful of ill-gotten gains". I interpret it, as she found excitement in thrill that out value the material gains.
-" A heap of heirlooms gleamed on the ballroom floor - rings and brooches in careless pile". Are those the rings from his corpse or just random rings? If those are actually his rings it makes the story some much more meaningful for me. Imagine what the night before she left the rings was like? What thoughts went through her head, memories, thoughts and dreams.
Although, they might be just some meaningless rings. His ring she might have kept to remind herself the first thrill/glint.
