Thanks for this upload,. It was interesting to see you create the bells. I'm wondering now whether I could do something similar with air dry clay. Sounded like there was a bit of an audio issue with the incidental music constantly fading in & out. I'm sure I'm not alone in being more than happy with hearing your instructions without music in future. It would save you time in the editing process...bonus! Orrabest fae Scotland! 😀👍
Hi, thank you for watching and commenting! I tried something new with the editing. My software has a music ducker, which reduces the volume of the music when there is talking. It obviously has limitations! Thanks for letting me know. Also, it sounded much different when I was editing. When I upload to YT they do something to alter the volumes. You may be my first viewer from Scotland! It's a place I've always wanted to visit, but never made the time. I don't know how well this would do with air dry clay, but you could certainly try. I don't know if they would ring quite as well. The clay has to vitrify in order to get a good ring...at least with my clay. I don't have experience with air dry. Let me know if it works!
Hey Pat, cool video i love the bells! Maybe you could just push the circle holes you cut out to the inside and those could be the jingles, rather than pry it open and add extra ones. Have you tried Mayco Antique Brass? I think it would be the perfect glaze for these bells 🔔 😍
Good ideas. If be worried that the small pieces would fall out after they shrink, and the bells sound better with s bigger clapper. I don't have the bronze but do have copper float. Maybe I'll use it on the next batch. Thanks for the input! ❤
Thank you for sharing ❤🇨🇦
Thanks for watching! ❤
