Well they don’t make them anymore so they are getting harder to find, like most of the Cinelli x Mash collaboration. Seems like an decent price depending on the condition of course
Beautiful! Actually I just got my Histogram aswell, I'm serching for a bottom bracket. What did you install? I don't what size would work. I have Miche Primato 170mm cranks
Adds a bit of protection when the bars hit the frame, if you crash or fall off the bars will usually twist and smack the frame. That’s why it’s common to see top tube dents on track bikes
Another sweet build,my friend! A word of caution... you should refrain from clamping your builds/frames on the frame's top tube. It places too much stress on the welds between the top tube and headtube (creating a hairline fracture), and can lead to possibly warping the top tube itself. And thus offset the geometry of your frame. It can and does happen. Instead, try either clamping on the seat tube, or inserting and clamping onto the seat post, and then complete your build. As always, I enjoy your builds. Keep up the good work!
Thanks mate! Thanks for the info, I do usually clamp the seatpost but for these videos it looks nicer and is easier to clamp the top tube. I would be very surprised if a plastic stand clamp had the ability to crack and bend a metal frame, but I guess i can see it happening with a proper metal jaw/workshop stand and or on carbon frames. I’ve worked in and around bike shops for a quite a few years now and have never heard about it. However a quick google does show peoples concerns about it. Have you had this happen to a bike before? I would be interested in seeing what happens. Thanks again, I’ve got some more builds on the way and I’ll for sure be clamping the seatpost..
waveywheelies No, I haven’t had this happen to me, thankfully! Think of it like this... you have to top tube clamped in and you begin installing or removing a crankset or bottom bracket. Sometimes bolts are over tightened, other times they seize, and you have to place a good amount of torque or force to loosen the bolt. Sometimes you have to place your weight into trying to loosen a bolt. And unbeknownst to you, that top tube is flexing under the pressure from the work that you’re doing below. Clearly, removing and installing a chain, or servicing a headset, or swapping a stem or handlebars aren’t creating a lot of force and shouldn’t be a problem. Again, unless something was once over tightened or has seized up! All I’m saying is that it isn’t a good practice and can possibly create undesired consequences. Anyway, just a tip. You do really solid work, man. I like your choice of components and the overall setup of your builds.
Yeah that makes sense, I’ve had plenty of seized stuff before an i always put the bike on the ground to do it. Deep down I think I’ve always had a gauge of how hard to go and when not too. I’ve just never heard/thought of it that’s all.. thanks again man! Really appreciate it! What bike/bikes you riding?
waveywheelies One Felt mountain/road bike (geared) but my baby... my fixed Crew Bike Co. District Track customized components (mine), and 48/17 gearing. It’s been a sweet ride. However, I’m actually anticipating a new build in a matter of days, a Cinelli Gazzeta frameset (Columbus Steel), the 2018-19 edition, color, Bluest Eye. The color scheme is hideous, but the triple butted Columbus Steel is unmatched! The frameset is currently at a paint shop undergoing a custom paint job. I’m also pairing it with a lugged fork, and all my other components have been purchased and impatiently awaiting install. Going with a 46/17 gearing on this one. I look forward to riding an all steel frameset. Once my guy from the paint shop calls to say the frameset is ready for pick up... it’s on, son! 🔧 🚲 😂 My pics will be uploaded on the peddle-room bike forum. I’ll keep you posted.
To help reduce the risk of dents, usually when you crash your bars will spin and smack against the top tube. And if you don’t have anything there, it’s likely to dent
The builds are always nice but dang these wide risers are an eyesore, completely destroys the aesthetics of the bike imo These even messed up the frame geometry of a lot of street fixie brands... When will we see proper track builds here ?
This was rad, MASH RULES!
Thanks bro! Love your videos, come ride New Zealand some time 🤙
the only good fixie content on youtube
What about zac G or Terry B?
@@OGLobster and Matt Reyes
lol😂
I've been looking for that frame for so long now, I gave up and bought a black 735. Very nice build man.
Whats so special about? i found one local to me for $550 usd is that a good deal?
Frame and fork
Well they don’t make them anymore so they are getting harder to find, like most of the Cinelli x Mash collaboration. Seems like an decent price depending on the condition of course
There is one right now on ebay for 2k $
You, Terry Barentsen & Billy Perry need oscars
Nice video, continue with this format, i love fixie bike builds, and i like your videos.
Thanks mate!
I would like to see more fixi builds with may be more paint work or different styles of bikes .
Great work though , very neat !
Thanks bro, got more on the way!

Beautiful! Actually I just got my Histogram aswell, I'm serching for a bottom bracket. What did you install? I don't what size would work. I have Miche Primato 170mm cranks

Thanks bro!
Great vid dude, love it
Thanks bro!
I was just wondering if you had any reccommendations for cheap, beginner single speed/fixie bikes
Sid HISSARIA pure fixed gear bikes
dolan pre cursa
hmm histo 15 looking beautiful
Damn so cool. I hope have much money to build bike like that
Good bike, but why so many spacer with a negative stem???
For a proper fit?
Because the stem is parallel to the top tube. Important for looks.
that's wheels,shine bright like a diamond!!💎💎💎
Can you tell how much money your spend for this?, pls
About 1200
Noob question - why do you need rubber & tape where the handle bar touches the frame?
Adds a bit of protection when the bars hit the frame, if you crash or fall off the bars will usually twist and smack the frame. That’s why it’s common to see top tube dents on track bikes
hey bro can you do a video where you dis assemble a fixed gear?
Very good work my friend
Thanks bro, appreciate it!
ooooooo classic with the archetypes
Decent build man
Thanks bro 🤙
Is that c13 or c17 saddle , sir?
sick ride! where are the brakes?
I just got a flip flop fixie the weels are skinny I want a wider wheel not no mountain bike wheels . Any recommendations?
How wide? you can put wider tyres on the wheel
Fan from philippines.
Why your toe aren't overlapping with the tire? Because i had that issue with my bike
Different frames have different clearances, also tire size and crank length makes a difference
Damn🔥wish I had one❤️
This makes me miss my 2014 histogram I wish I kept it
Get another one?
@@waveywheelies i would if i could find one in my size i been looking i guess im not looking hard enough
One will pop up eventually, I had wanted one for years. Took about 3 months after I started properly looking.. Definitely worth the wait 🤙
Another sweet build,my friend!

A question. Where are the brakes?
Hello, can you buy this bike somewhere or can you specify where to buy all the components to assemble yourself. 😀
You can't buy this frameset new anymore, but you can try the second hand marketplace
So clean
How much did this built cost you ?
What is the cost of that build please
i want them bars. fresh set up
Thanks bro, they’re not expensive 🤙
Is the brooks saddle worth it?
It’s definitely one of the comfiest saddles I’ve personally ridden
What is he using like top tube frame protector? It seems like a inner tube
Yep it’s an old inner tube
what is the tape you wrap around the bike frame
Just an old inner tube! with some electrical tape to hold it in place
So pretty
What is the white cream you apply while assembling?
Finish line premium grease
amazing bro!
Thanks bro
Why put a frame protector when you have rubber grips?
To help reduce the risk of dents, usually when you crash your bars will spin and smack against the top tube. And if you don’t have anything there, it’s likely to dent
This is so nice ✨✨✨
what do you call that kind of Handle Bar?
It’s a Funn Flame On
What is the song ?
Song is made my a homie, isn't released anywhere yet sorry. Ill let you know if it is

These even messed up the frame geometry of a lot of street fixie brands...
