I love the colours you're using on these quilts. I have so many small pieces I don't throw away and now I'm going to use all of them in this way. Thanks for showing the quilts and methods. These are the quilts I'll definitely give to the family...❤️💐😊☘️
Square in a square is a great way to use scraps. I made a quilt from leftover scraps from one of your warm stash builders. I made 3.5" square in square in square (Economy Block- paper pieced)) as the center of a star using triangle in square star points. Looking at the fabric reminds me of the quilt that I made for my stepmom using your beautiful fabrics. Your antique quilt was inspirational. I love the harmonizing solid blocks, and I've settled on this for incorporating those blocks.
Thank you for showing us how to make this simple block! So fun and having that alternate block not only extends the quilt but gives a direction to press.
Love the quilt behind you! ❤ That pink is a classic. The color placement is so typical of the antique quilts and would be fun to imitate. One of the quilts in your Handfuls of Scraps book, Broken Dishes p. 7, creates a ‘plaid’ pattern alternating the lights and darks to add interest to the scrappy one block quilt. I want to attempt that layout also. For this block, using dark and light centers, maybe even mediums would create a more complex plaid effect. If you ever do a video on layouts, a strategy for creating a plaid would be interesting. It would be an easy block with such a cool layout that even beginning quilters could pull off. Thank you Edtya!
Love the small quilts club. I have spent this week and a half quilting them all. I will be hangin on my studio wall this weekend. Love all the creative and thought that goes into each sweet quilt. Thank you Edyta.
Thank you. It's a fun and informative video. I love the Illusion quilt. But I am thrilled you have the Square-in-a-Square kit in precut. Yay! You are awesome, Edyta. Your designs are magnificent. I love that you based some of them on your antique quilts. Have a blessed day.🥰❤️🪡🧵
I ENJOYED this video and immediately subscribed! You're pleasant, nice to listen to, you aren't babbling on and on about stuff we don't need to know - and I love that! Good demonstration techniques, good explanations and terms. I thoroughly enjoyed this!
Love the video! Thank you for explaining in detail each step. I'm a new quilter,so hearing & seeing such detail helps me greatly. ❤ I'm now going to join your club !!
Loved this video, well I love all of them! I am sitting here in SWFrance with my haemostat pulling the papers from Hawaiian dream pineapple from your patches of scraps book. I made the biggest mistake by not buying your preprinted papers. Please let everyone know they are so necessary ! My husband printed them on ordinary paper as I was impatient to start. Intake of breath! I am on day 5 and still have 12 blocks left from my fifty. It will be a table runner not a bed quilt. Now I wish I had a smaller table. Don’t make my mistake Ladies! 😫🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I have been watching your videos, and I am realizing I am too heavy handed with my iron. (Maybe this is because I started as a garment maker?) It's hard to break this habit, but I am working on it. Thank you, Edyta!
Hi Edyta I just signed up for the subscription. (It's Rachel from Breakwater Fabric) can I please have the square in a square quilt Sent for first month? So looking forward to being a part of the club!

I that antique quilt as the inspiration. I can also imagine it in 1930's with a green solid square. And red white and blue version too!

I love my Juki machine, super reliable machines.
Thank you for the inspiration ❤
Beautiful ❤
Thank you for your video. What stitch length do you use on the Juki when making these blocks?
When you use jellyroll how large should background fabric be to cut triangle. Sue
Is the square in the centre the same size and the one you cut in half for the outside pieces. I would like to perfect mine.

Just fyi this kit was for the month of April..
Why not press all sides to the outside instead of half to the inside?
What size is the square you cut for the background triangles for the 2.5" center? Thank you!
