I am Nigerian , born and bred. What the first lady was saying is that young Nigerian ladies need to cover up more since there is a sudden high exposure of their bodies in recent years- which does not align with our culture. We seem to be losing our culture due to the influence of the west. Noone says Meghan should not visit or would not be welcomed in Nigeria, Nigerians are very very welcoming people regardless of who it is but some of her outfits were not appropriate for official outings especially in the Abuja-which is the north of Nigeria and mainly muslim with sharia law in place. Out of respect for the people, it would have been nice to do so. And it would have been good if she was informed about the dress code before arriving. You ladies look very pretty & you are covered. If you invite me to visit your community, out of respect, I would make an effort to cover up a bit. What might work or great in the West might not just work or look great in Africa & there is nothing wrong in having cultural differences. Where ever one is, one needs to be sensitive to the culture of the place

I never thought less about the monarchy because of anything they did or have done. What made me wonder if we need it or should have it? The treatment by the press, their shameless, obvious bias, encouraging of bullying while at the same time defending Catherine (validating claims by the two) and the royalists, conspiracy theorists, clickbaiting UA-camrs and anyone who calls childish names on every comment section where either of them appear. That's what makes the UK and the Royals look bad

What I find hilarious is that she claimed she was of Maltese heritage going as far as visiting Malta and wearing traditional clothing. Also given her father being 100% white and her mother is mixed race, there is no way she’s 43% Nigerian. That statistic she took from a book by Georgina Lawton called “Raceless” where the author claims to discovering she was 43% Nigerian. This is not the first time Meghan has been caught lying about things!
I like this coverage, and i like how you point out the hypocrisy, while certain pasrt of Nugeria are conservative because its had a large population of prople practicing islam and christianity , like many societies it is also ripe with clandestine immorality and hypocrisy , the first lady' s statement in my opinion reeks of eliticism , constitutionally Nigeria is a secular country, the reason why there is a perceuved increase adoption of loose dressing among yound girls is not only western influence its also due to high levels of unemployment and poverty and yound girls are using their bodies to make money or gain influence that takes them closer to money, as a representative of the government her focus should be tavkling root causes instead of preaching.
