Tom made it clear though that he wasn’t going to be a provider for Maria. He showed her who he was, why did Maria ignore the red flags? He just saw her as a fetish something different to try out! His core values were just the opposite for Maria,giving a promise to the mom he really didn’t get how disrespectful his actions were.

Yep, he chose who he felt Xually attracted to… when he saw Natasha and saw that she was attractive and closer in principles to what he would want, he started to check out of his relationship with Maria. He’s probably trying to find out how he can connect in a decent way with Natasha. That is not to say it will work, with Natasha, because I get F boy energy from Tom.🤷🏻♀

Maria lied to herself Tom's principles are real they have a different values. She is not ready to listen and meet him and for some reason she expects him to accept her culture without criticism. When, with all due respect, she does not act on it 100 percent. I'm glad Tom listened to his instincts. They are too different. She should date someone similar background.

If Maria has those values, she should date within her culture where the men are raised the same.
Contractually, I think they have to go through with the weddings, however, I feel like Maria tried to adjust some of her traditional values to fit marks values, and they never aligned to begin with. Their values were contrasting since the beginning yet they both ignored them. Also, Tom is a liar and highly disrespectful for the way he left her at that altar with no regard!
I question whether the couple have to have a wedding. Chelsea and Jimmy didn’t make it to the altar last season. Neither did Brittany and Kenneth. I am sure I’m forgetting another couple that made it to living together, but bailed before the weddings. (Weren’t there only 2 weddings from last season?) There may be an added financial incentive to go to the altar, but I don’t think it is an actual obligation/requirement.

Tom was giving F-boy energy. I also didn’t like his conversation with Natasha… once he saw she was attractive and still into him, he was planning his exit from Maria. I bet he will date Natasha now. I don’t think it will last, because like I said he gives F boy energy…🤷🏻♀

Maria I think lied to herself and Tom. In the pods she was diplomatic but once she was outside of the pods everything had to be her way and for her culture and that's not fair .
