In term of protecting ordinary citizens, there more than 1.2 million people have died in Covid in the US, and in China, with four times the population of the US has only lost a few thousands. As we all know on the surface the American politicians were voted into power by people, but they only serve the interest of their donors behind the scene, not serve the majority of ordinary voters, that's including all elected governments and presidents of the US, they never serve the interest of the vast majority people after being elected. Is America a democracy or oligarchy moneyocracy? The fundamental systemic differences between USA and China are: 1 There's no slaughter, loot and genocide against natives and ethnic minorities in China, the 'I Can't Breathe' incident never happened in China. 2. The US per capita income is 6.4 times ahead of China's, why we see the homeless everywhere on street in the US but couldn't find such scene anywhere in China? 3. China does not allow 1% of the population to own more than 95% of the population's total wealth. 4. China does not allow its people to die in mass shootings, let alone let school children get massacred by guns. 5. China does not allow the drug problem to plague the country and kill more than 100,000 people every year. 6. China has never invaded other countries or engaged in colonial expansion. 7. China never interferes in the internal affairs of other countries and never seeks and fosters agents abroad. 8. China has never based its foreign policies on 'We lied, we cheated, we stole. It reminds you of the glory of the American experiment (Pompeo)'. 9. China has never sought to dominate the world, nor deprived any country (region) of its right of development. On the contrary, China shares development and prosperity with all trading partners. 10. China will never do anything to weaken or eliminate an opponent in order to win. Instead, China is focused on bettering itself. 11. China never fires missiles at wandering balloons, but heavily invests in better infrastructures so Chinese people can enjoy better life, safety and health. 12. China advocates and practices in 'Unite and Prosper', the US pursues and believes in 'Divide and Rule', one is constructive and one is destructive. 13. China always follows Confucius philosophy 'Seek common interest and reserve difference', the US prefers 'Either at the table or on the menu (Blinken)'. 14. Chinese Communist Party members never act as brokers for the military industrial complex in abroad. 15. China walks the talk with a moral compass, the US talks the walk without any moral compass. Conclusion: China's system truly reflects 'of the people, by the people, for the people', the US system betrayed Abraham Lincoln's idea, it truly manifested 'of the 1% people, by the 1% people, for the 1% people'.

What good is political democracy when the economy is oligarchic? It’s complete theatre. Without economic agency, citizens are paying taxes for services that operate in the interests of other people. “It’s the economy, stupid.” 😅
That my dear is the genius of western illusionary "freedom and democracy", it is all about "feeling" good, not actually "doing" any good. Hence westerners continue to "vote" each time thinking, things would get better, but with each election cycle, it's the same policy, one govt blames the other, failing that just blame Russia, China, Iran, Cuba, Venezuela and everybody else, that is also why the west always need an enemy or 2, to control their population. Western democracy is the best divisive tool in the world.
How is economy oligarchic? Are you forced to buy any services except by govt you voted for? (insurance and licenses). You voted for the oligarchy? That's why political democracy matters.

Highly recommend the book "Why the World Needs China" by Kyle Ferrana, great examination of how China's system works better than that of the US and why countries in the Global South/Global Majority prefer to work with China
China’s governance model sparks intense debate, and it’s easy to see why. While it’s criticized as “autocratic” from a Western perspective, there’s no denying the tangible results it delivers-lifting millions out of poverty and responding swiftly to crises like COVID-19. The real issue here is how we define success and governance. Is it about freedom of speech, or about ensuring basic needs and economic security? In many ways, China’s system challenges the idea that democracy automatically produces the best outcomes. Maybe it’s time to question the Western narrative and see China’s governance for what it is-complex, effective, and deeply influential globally.
I would say, it's all about choices. Asians prefer prosperity, unity, jobs, family ties. Westerners prefers voting every 4 years, over and above everything else, they prefer profits over humanity, extreme wealth to the detriment of the nation and we must all defend their rights to carry on with democracy.
But China has democratic processes. If it were a top down system, they’ve already fallen. What kind of participation do we really have in the West? Voting every 4 years but even then our voices don’t matter, we don’t have political power, our needs and concerns are not heard.
LOL I do love how some western powers or political punters think China's system of governance or border is up for debates or approval by the west! That's like saying I have a say over my neighbors house rules. Idiotic rationale to say the least. China's system is up to Chinese people and China to decide, just like European "freedom and democracy" is up to western population to debate. It's all about choices! In the west people have chosen "freedom and democracy, a system which makes them "feel" good, never mind that it doesn't really change a damn thing. Chinese people chose to forgo western "freedom and democracy" as defined by the west, it choose to trust its govt Commie or otherwise, to make the right decision, and when it doesn't then chinese people will simply replace them, just like every other dynasty for the past 5000 years. However illusionary "freedom and democracy" of the west, must be defended and must be allowed to carry on, after all it is a westerner's choice, to remain "free" from all properties, free to sleep in the parks, in tents, free to l00t shops, free to sh00t each other, that IS their right to do so, even enshrined in the U$ constitution! America's right must be protected!
Lots of countries have to totalitarians rulers all across the world and the US a considers them a very strong ally and actually has a military bases in some of them. Lots of these countries don't do anything for the citizens the two biggest ones I think of are Saudi Arabia and Nigeria deep in corruption and not a standing vision for the country compared them to China. the ruling party in China actually wants to progress the country for whatever reason I don't know. But lots of countries would trade the productivity of their country for the productivity of China. Like I said again lots of totalitarian governments out there that don't even do one tenth of what China does for its people. And you never hear the USA talking about spreading democracy to Saudi Arabia, UAE, QATAR, Jordan or criticizing governments like EGYPT at the same level as they do as china because they usually bend the knee to what the US wants

“Global South” is far clearer than “global majority.” The global south is the global majority. I don’t see why you’d have a problem with the term. The Global North is the former colonizers, settler colonies, and the US Empire. Global South is formerly colonized or semi-colonized countries.
@@mattesparza2072 It's a dumb term because it's drawing a random line in the sand. There are "global south" countries on northern latitudes than the "global north".
@@mattesparza2072 Global Majority has some advantages over “Global South”. You know what Global South refers to and that it represents a majority, but many people from the U.S., the core of the Global North, do not, and language should serve to educate. As such, I would use both terms interchangeably. Not only is it geographically misleading to say “Global South”, but many who live in the Global North and understand which countries the “Global South” refers to still maintain the delusion that the liberal settler-colonial states they live in are the majority, or can see themselves as more legitimate than the Global South.

*A Win-Win for China: The U.S. Role in Global Conflict and Complicity in Genocide* Introduction As the world stands at a precarious crossroads, with the specter of nuclear warfare looming, it is imperative to critically examine the role the United States plays in perpetuating conflicts across the globe. This report highlights the U.S.'s complicity in wars, particularly in Gaza, and explores how these actions are creating opportunities for China to strengthen its relationships, especially with countries in sub-Saharan Africa. U.S. Involvement in Global Conflicts The United States has a long history of military intervention, often justified under the guise of spreading democracy and protecting human rights. However, these interventions frequently lead to widespread destruction and loss of life. The ongoing conflict in Gaza serves as a glaring example of U.S. complicity in violence. The U.S. has provided substantial military aid to Israel, which has been implicated in acts that can be described as genocidal against the Palestinian people. This support not only fuels conflict but also undermines peace efforts in the region. As civilians bear the brunt of these conflicts, the loss of innocent lives raises urgent ethical questions about U.S. foreign policy. The international community watches as the U.S. remains silent or supportive amidst atrocities, leading to accusations of complicity in genocide. China's Rising Influence While the U.S. continues its destructive path, China is strategically positioning itself as a leader in global development. China's investments in infrastructure and development projects across sub-Saharan Africa exemplify a different approach. By focusing on mutual benefits rather than military intervention, China is fostering goodwill and strengthening diplomatic ties with nations that have historically been overlooked by Western powers. China's model offers countries in Africa an opportunity for economic growth without the strings attached that often accompany U.S. aid. This creates a win-win situation for both China and these nations, allowing them to pursue their own paths to development while sidestepping the conflicts fueled by U.S. policies. Call to Action The world is at a critical juncture. With nuclear weapons involved and tensions escalating globally, it is crucial for Americans to take action. I urge every American to contact their congressman and express discontent with ongoing military interventions. Demand that they prioritize peace over war and support diplomatic solutions instead of destructive policies that lead to loss of life and suffering. We must act swiftly to ensure that our government reflects the values of peace and humanitarianism rather than aggression and destruction. The future of global stability depends on our collective voice advocating for an end to war and a commitment to peacebuilding efforts worldwide. Conclusion As the U.S. continues to engage in conflicts that exacerbate suffering, China's alternative approach presents an opportunity for constructive engagement with developing nations, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. It is time for Americans to demand a shift from war to diplomacy, advocating for a future where peace prevails over violence.
China is helping to build the world while US is waging wars, it is a glaring contrast of foreign policy. Africa , South East Asia and South America will benefit greatly from China’s infrastructure projects. Look at countries like Hungary , Spain , Serbia , Indonesia , Malaysia, Laos , Kenya etc. … they are all pivoting towards China. Build a better world with China.

The video presents a discussion on China's political influence, governance model, and its contrasting relationship with the Global South, particularly in light of recent geopolitical dynamics. Here’s a detailed summary of the key themes and points covered: Geopolitical Context: The conversation begins with a focus on China's military exercises around Taiwan, highlighting the tensions in the region following Taiwan's new president's statements on independence and equal status. The hosts emphasize Taiwan's strategic significance as a historical U.S. military base and its role in U.S. force projection against China. China's Global Strategy: The hosts analyze an article suggesting that China is exporting its autocratic governance model to developing countries. They challenge the narrative that China is imposing its system on others, arguing that many nations are seeking alternatives to Western neoliberal policies. Economic Initiatives: The discussion shifts to China's investment in infrastructure, including a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility being built in the Ivory Coast as part of China's Health Silk Road initiative. This initiative aims to improve healthcare and foster international cooperation, contrasting sharply with the U.S. approach of imposing conditions through aid. Perceptions of Governance: The speakers critique the portrayal of China as solely an autocracy, pointing out that many Chinese citizens actively participate in political processes. They argue that China's governance has effectively improved the lives of millions, while also acknowledging the dynamic political culture within China. Western Interventionism: The conversation highlights the historical context of U.S. and British intervention in Africa, noting their failure to invest meaningfully in the continent and instead perpetuating dependency on foreign aid. The hosts argue that this colonial mindset has led to a loss of credibility for Western powers. Changing Global Dynamics: They discuss the shift towards a multipolar world where more countries are looking to China for inspiration and support rather than adhering to Western models of democracy. This reflects a growing disillusionment with Western hegemony and the recognition of China's development successes. Cultural Misunderstandings: The hosts emphasize the need for a better understanding of different cultural contexts and governance systems. They point out that many misconceptions about China stem from a lack of genuine knowledge about its society and achievements. Call for Awareness: The video concludes with a call for greater awareness among the American public regarding global issues and the realities of China’s development model. The speakers advocate for more informed discussions that consider both the successes and challenges faced by different countries. Overall, the video presents a critical examination of the narratives surrounding China's rise and the implications for global power dynamics, particularly in relation to the U.S. and its historical actions in the Global South.

Is America a democracy or oligarchy moneyocracy? The fundamental systemic differences between USA and China are:
1 There's no slaughter, loot and genocide against natives and ethnic minorities in China, the 'I Can't Breathe' incident never happened in China.
USA is a democrazy country

What good is political democracy when the economy is oligarchic? It’s complete theatre.
Without economic agency, citizens are paying taxes for services that operate in the interests of other people.
“It’s the economy, stupid.” 😅
This is such a great interview. Thank you so much for this. 👊🏾🧔🏾♂️
@@mikolowiskamikolowiska4993 there are 7 US hedge funds that retain monopolistic-like control over WHOLE industries (health, traditional media, digital, power utility, and now the home market) and somehow people think that their individual economic decisions have any effect. They don’t and they haven’t. In Canada, the situation is actually worse. We have governments that retain control over swaths of the marketplace, but they influence them in the same way that serves even smaller cadres of capital and labour. It’s a system that has been co-opted over a century. The UK and other EU states have similar struggles.
@IdrisFashan It doesn't matter how much economic power you have when the government has the monopoly on guns and violence. So yes, the government being a democracy makes all the difference.
Thank you so much. Until I watched this video, I was completely ignorant about China and believed all the mainstream myths and stereotypes. You really opened my eyes!
China has real democracy that works for people instead of for big corporate monopolies as in US.
90% of Chinese people own their homes. This is a dream! I speak with many Chinese in China who assume this is normal in the west. I don’t think many realise that less and less are able to buy homes here.

Agreed it’s disrespectful and ignorant. Most now are finally Developing to make better for their own people so they don’t have to immigrate some where else
places are underdeveloped because of colonisation.
“Global south” seeks to remedy the colonial connotations with terms like “third world”. Global south and global majority are both good terms but “global south” reminds us of the historical processes related to colonisation, imperialism, capitalism.

Great video guys.
Nah they pretty slow to respond unlike Taiwan, Local governor ignoring the doctors warning, silencing them and let virus spreads,
I would say, it's all about choices.
I think the thing China is doing right is based on results and investing in the right areas instead of ideology and blaming others.

i'm tire of this description the global south .. please just call the rest of the world the global majority..
“Global South” is far clearer than “global majority.” The global south is the global majority. I don’t see why you’d have a problem with the term. The Global North is the former colonizers, settler colonies, and the US Empire. Global South is formerly colonized or semi-colonized countries.
@@mattesparza2072Well explained. Dont want to be disrespected by these louts
Before the "Global South", there was a term called "Third-World Countries".

Role in Global Conflict and Complicity in Genocide*
Introduction
As the world stands at a precarious crossroads, with the specter of nuclear warfare looming, it is imperative to critically examine the role the United States plays in perpetuating conflicts across the globe. This report highlights the U.S.'s complicity in wars, particularly in Gaza, and explores how these actions are creating opportunities for China to strengthen its relationships, especially with countries in sub-Saharan Africa.
U.S. Involvement in Global Conflicts
The United States has a long history of military intervention, often justified under the guise of spreading democracy and protecting human rights.
China's Rising Influence
While the U.S. continues its destructive path, China is strategically positioning itself as a leader in global development.
China's investments in infrastructure and development projects across sub-Saharan Africa exemplify a different approach. By focusing on mutual benefits rather than military intervention, China is fostering goodwill and strengthening diplomatic ties with nations that have historically been overlooked by Western powers.
China's model offers countries in Africa an opportunity for economic growth without the strings attached that often accompany U.S. aid. This creates a win-win situation for both China and these nations, allowing them to pursue their own paths to development while sidestepping the conflicts fueled by U.S. policies.
Call to Action
The world is at a critical juncture.
Conclusion
As the U.S. continues to engage in conflicts that exacerbate suffering, China's alternative approach presents an opportunity for constructive engagement with developing nations, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. It is time for Americans to demand a shift from war to diplomacy, advocating for a future where peace prevails over violence.
Great conversation! Must have Prof. Ken back ! Thank you!❤😊
China is helping to build the world while US is waging wars, it is a glaring contrast of foreign policy. Africa , South East Asia and South America will benefit greatly from China’s infrastructure projects. The video presents a discussion on China's political influence, governance model, and its contrasting relationship with the Global South, particularly in light of recent geopolitical dynamics. Here’s a detailed summary of the key themes and points covered:
Geopolitical Context: The conversation begins with a focus on China's military exercises around Taiwan, highlighting the tensions in the region following Taiwan's new president's statements on independence and equal status.

Very good channel. The guest, the professor, surely knows what he's talking about and gives very frank and objective opinions. I hope more American intellectuals would speak according to their conscience, unlike most American and Western politicians who are lying to their people and the world.
I have been watching dozens of Chinese satellite channels for almost two decades. Those fake and despicable US and Western news outlets aiming to smear China with propaganda and lies cannot fool me like they have fooled others. These US/Western mainstream outlets are truly evil.
*The irony is striking!* The USA, once a dominant superpower, has primarily brought war and destruction to the world, while China focuses on building and enhancing infrastructure globally.
People are waking up to the reality that the biggest threat to humanity comes from the USA, which consistently supports war and destruction rather than peace.
The USA and Britain squandered their opportunity when they neglected to invest in Africa constructively, opting instead to maintain the continent's poverty and reliance on aid.
Their outdated thinking is evident, and it may ultimately lead to their downfall.
