- I am being told that the Iwata ws400 and LS400 series 2 Spray pretty much identical to the series one so if you already have the series 1 spray guns there may not be a need to invest such a large amount of money into these guns.

hey Trigger, i have 3 "older" W400, 1 with the WB1,WB2 and WBX Cap ( all with the Split nozzle) for sealer, base and clear. I love them, they have a nice even Fan and spraying a good Finish. those guns are built to Last! Keep up the good work brother, I love your show!

Seems like people are saying the base coat gun is the same, but the clear coat series 2 is different and better. But, the digital gauge is problematic. Seems really gimmicky the way it works? Held in place by magnets. I don’t know. Just seems bizarre that it be set up like it is. Especially, for a Japanese manufacturer. Although, an Italian designer came up with the idea as I understand it. Btw, keep up the good work Trigger. 👍

The series 2 triggerman is ment to be out off the box experience and to be used at 2 bar full fulid and full fan said I have that the PVD COATING COMES OFF Iwata are aware of the problem my mate has the series 1 clear coat paint gun cracking finish but you have to dial it because of the fan but now there all going for new sagola extreme 😊😊
I had a series 1. I ran out of series 2 yesterday. I'm curious if I can tell any difference when I read the comments here. 🤣But I'm looking forward to trying it out. I've been very happy with Series 1. 👍

I think if i was a career car painter i would have to pass on getting every new spray gun that drop.
Firearms are the same way. Always a new one to buy. Its a endless cycle mane. Like trying to fill a bucket with a hole in it
Yep same exact thing. I had to slow down on the fire arms too. Have so many I ran out of places to put them, and every now and then I'll go to a spot like "oh this is where I out that" so yea man. Then also whenever we use the new gun and I always sprays so good but really it's just enjoyment of spraying with something new so it feels like it's spring that much better when an actuality is the same thing as the last model 😂
@@PaintsByTrigger the last rifle I bought was a bolt action bergara hmr wilderness chambered in 7prc. Then I built a ar15 a couple months ago that i still haven't shot. I Started thinking to myself like man I don't even really even shoot that much anymore. It's a horrible way to live lol. Always looking to buy or build the next before you fully enjoyed what you already have. That's why I don't bug no more about the spray guns much anymore. I haven't even enjoyed the ones I have. It's great content for a new video though!
Hi Trigger great video as always boss😁I've never owned or used the series 1 WS400 so I cant comment on how they spray but I do have the Series 2 1.3HD digital version which I got a couple of weeks after they were released in the UK and I can't really fault it providing the tip is lined up with the airhorns (as mentioned in the manual) the fan pattern is spot on at full fan.
I've had the gun over 2 years now and while the digital gauge works ok it always shows a low battery warning when I turn it on I've tried three different batteries but it's always the same but it doesn't effect the way it works so I ignore it🤔🙄😂John UK

So the air horns have to be aligned for the gun to spray properly 🫠🤔 can't just pick up and spray 🫠🫠 interesting 🤔 lol I'm going to wait on something cooler to come out. Yeah I've heard a few people say that the series 2 is not a big upgrade but for me not having the older version I'm really happy with it. I thought I should mention that it's in the manual as most of us male types just chuck it in the bin😇🤓😂

@@PaintsByTrigger Should review the Iwata Wider 4L from Japan; I have the LPH400 and the Wider 4L and I cant tell the difference except the Wider 4L is almost half the $$$

Tried the series one when they first came out , couldn't get on with it trigg too much foolin around trying to dial it and no way did it like full fan so I've avoided those guns since 😮😮😮😮😮
Man I've had these guns for like 10 years and I might have done 10 jobs with them. To finicky so I'm definitely not wasting money on the new set. No way Jose Mr Brown

The green knobs ls400 is very good with the metallics is what i use for that.
Also have the ws400 black mamba but i only used it couple of times it’s basically like new!
My opinion the gun do do good but the series 1 still do just as good. The difference with the series 2 is that it is even top to bottom and u do move a lot faster than the series 1. The series 1 u have a lot more control. U don’t have that with the series 2.
It's weird people say there was an issue to be corrected with the series 1. I've Never noticed anything wrong. I always get a nice finish. I think people just be OCD with this shit. I've gotten flawless jobs. But I still don't think the new ones are worth the money. Even though I get guns at cost I still don't even want to fork out $500 for it.
@@PaintsByTriggeryeah I haven’t had issues with the series 1 myself. I always had wide open fan and fluid. I don’t ever touch the settings but yeah the series 2 it’s good but I mean the series 1 still do the same. Only difference like I said is the fluid pattern is full from top to bottom and u can move a lot faster and it pumps a lil more fluid on the panel than the 1st series. About 30 to 40% more fluid it’s a noticeable difference but yeah that’s pretty much it. Series 1 is still great in my opinion.

You've Heard they fixed it from people that don't want to admit it for whatever reason. Not everyone tells the truth. So be careful.

I don't have the CC I was told from my Sata rep that the guns are not sold here in the US because they are not designed for our clear coat here. So that's why everyone has to buy them from overseas. So I have no experience with that particular gun.
