Dear Alicia, I am 25 and lost my uterus last year due to a very serious illness. I felt hopeless for long and held onto God and Jesus, and I am so glad I did, because I believe this is how I found your channel (I haven't even searched for family channels atall). You are making it clear as day for me that my life is not over (as a mother). I haven't got the chance to even decide wether I want my uterus out because it was a life & death situation,thus I never got the chance to have children either BUT your content makes me CONTENT. Watching your videos calms my mind as well as my heart. It shows me that there IS in fact many other ways to become a mother. And believe it or not, it brings tears to my eyes Every Single Time one of your child says " Thank you mom ", mostly the adopted ones. I have been worrying over the fact that "Ok,I CAN adopt,but will they ever love me as a biological child loves his/her mother?" I believe I got the answer through your videos already. It is the strongest YES. Thank you,Alicia. You might not even realize that you are saving lives and giving hope those hopeless that are walking in similar shoes as mine.

I was adopted but also found my birth mother. I love my adoptive mother so much.she nurtured and took care of me my whole child life and that makes a huge difference.

Quick tip - For Jordan and Jason when doing their hair I would recommend the LOC method.
Spray liquid (water) first until damp.
Then apply oil.
Then apply leave in conditioner. Not too much. A dime size or smaller.
If you see excessive white strips it’s a sign you used too much. You can apply a little more oil to help remove the streaks.
Have them put a Durag or hair wrap on after this immediately while getting ready. This will help remove the white streaks rather getting a paper towel. This will help train their to be more manageable lol.
For quick days. Mix just natural oil (grape seed, olive oil, black castor) and water into a spray bottle. Always shake then spray, comb, brush then durag or hair wrap.
Also, their hair is dry. You must condition their hair 3 times a week. Wash their hair with shampoo only once a week. Over washing strips our hair texture and remove our moisture.
The same with the lotion I would recommend you use less. You can add natural oil to any lotion to help it seal into their skin.
Great improvements on brushing and combing forward!!!!

She's so adorable with the twins. I can appreciate how she treats them all It's nice to give those few moments of time with each child even if it's just to help them with their routine, hygiene is very important and at least she doesn't just send them on their way and tell them to do it themselves. My mom never took this time with me. Ever. Not even to do our nails together or help me floss or anything.

I’m a nurse and a mum. My kids are all adults and yet I’m so drawn to your channel. I find it so interesting how you organise 10 kids. You and your husband have hearts of gold

Alicia, I realize it’s next to impossible to respond to each comment, so don’t feel you need to with mine. I just want you to know, as a grandma (they call me Nonny!) to 3 “perfect” grandbabies (boy 8, girl 6, girl 16mo) watching your sweeties from Alex down to precious little Harley, each one was not only excited about their bucket full, but to see each of them thank mommy and daddy so emphatically, warmed my heart! Your kiddos have such amazing manners, kudos to mom and dad teaching them early on! It’s sweet watching Alex helping the littles. They will each grow up, looking to their older brothers with respect and awe!
Lastly, Alicia, I watch YOU as mama and wife, be able to majorly multi-task, making up a meal, talking to Josh, while helping Harley or Dash with “something urgent” in their eyes! You amaze me, to say the least!
If y’all ever come to Texas, I invite your whole family over for a good ol’ southern meal, out in the country; plenty of room for the kiddos to run n play!

Thankyou for giving bre the older more mature looking fishing rod, I was in foster care and I oftentimes compare my younger self to bre. In a foster home the mother gave the younger girl all of the more mature things when I was the older one. It was difficult for me and it made me confused and question why I was getting child thinge at 13 but an 11 yr old got the things I wanted. I didnt know how to deal with it and i chalked it up to they must love her more than me. When bre saw the fishing pole and said she loved it I knew you made the right choice even if it was by accident. I know it's just a fishing rod but it's a big deal to kids so Please keep this in mind bc I still think about the bike I never got to this day at 20 yrs old and I would just be heartbroken If another kid had to deal with that too, God bless.

I enjoyed the family meal. In my life no one asked "what was the best part of your day". I love how you include each member to help- as Harlee was placing the napkins out. You encourage self reliance, at every turn. Very special Alicia. Your husband is very quiet, as is grandpa!!! Thanks for bringing us along!! I felt included. (We didn't do any of these activities when I was growing up). These will make for the best of memories. The two older boys really take care of the younger ones & the pets. Sorry, I get confused regarding names. Today is Tuesday & we have wet snow, which of course won't stay. 🙏❤️🇨🇦

My daughter had ADHD and is autistic. Holidays can be tough on her: too many changes in routine, expectations, different foods/clothing/etc. Good for you for knowing when your kiddos were done with church and heading home! We barely made it through church yesterday and then took the afternoon to just chill out with lego and movies.
I love how ur kids seem to get along pretty well. Harlee is adorable, and Zoey is very bright. James is such a gentleman, every child has a very special quality. Excellent parenting...happy Easter.

Oh my goodness how sweet an cute. They are all respectful an so kind. And as far as the older kids they helping out with the smaller kids. Only if the world had more of u an Josh. Alicia u are the real MVP!!! Oh an side note: idk if u heard about Almond oil. U can get it from GNC or some grocery stores. Try this for Jordon & Jason all the other oil is greasy but the almond oil can be used all over the body. I promise once u see how good it is when u look at it u would be like this oil idk but trust me it will not be greasy how other oils are having us looking like we ready to fry something 😂 but pls try it the whole family can use it your skin will feel amazing. And I would put some in ur favorite lotion but it’s so good to hydrate the skin. May GOD continue to pour blessing upon ur family I love ur vlogs oh and a trick I do with my grand kids u know the Johnson & Johnson bath wash the lavender when they get ready for bed bathed them an I would rub them down with the almond oil kinda like giving a gentle massage an they will sleep like a baby . ❤❤❤
