    Thank you for the 91 tune. Literally everyone is CA can finally run a flash tune safely outside of the Cobb stage tune.

    More power, way more torque, and better gas mileage? I'm intrigued

    people can hate on the VB all they want but its by far the best wrx to come out well besides looks

    Would you ever consider doing a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into developing a tune? I'd be curious to know what the trial and error process looks like, how you start, what numbers look like, etc. I definitely wouldn't want you to give up any critical or proprietary information, but I think it would be neat to see the work that goes into it! Great video on the VB. I think it's such a capable platform that has a little more room for meaningful gains. Looking forward to more content!

    Very nice tune. Thinking about just leaving mine stock and just get a tune. Its the ultimate bang for the buck.

      That’s what I’m doing. It’s still a daily when dailying I’ll just go to stock tune

      The difference is impressive. Getting such gains without picking up a wrench? No brainer.

      @@EdgeAutosport I LOVED that I could run an eco 87oct tune on road trips in my FoST. Is that an option with this too?

    • @chrischarles9218
      @chrischarles9218 Рік тому

      @@ZPOLLAK A freind has an outback with the FA 24 (same as WRX) and he puts 87 octane in. Granted the engine will pull timing but he drives easy and hasn't had any issues. The ECU on these cars tunes very well for the type of gas you are running.

    Sign me up! Had an edge e tune for my fost and she ripped. Looking forward to this.

    Holy shit.. That torque curve reminds me of my old 2.0 ecoboost. I went from 230hp/240ftls to 285hp/370ftlbs with a front mount and the tune. You're making it really freaking hard to keep my stock VB stock. I blame you. :O It may just happen sooner than later LOL Great video

      At this point, the stock turbo is the bottle neck holding it back from higher numbers

  • @AbbottJosh
    @AbbottJosh Рік тому +4

    That's wild from just a tune. What's the weak point in this car? Probably the clutch but what do you suspect will be the next limiter after that? Fuel/cooling/turbo?

    • @price2263
      @price2263 Рік тому +2

      Clutch is defiantly the first most people run into. Some guys are running e60 without touching the fuel system. Might be wrong but think the turbo kinda falls off around 450 wheel and about 24 psi. At that point you’d be more worried about the trans.

    • @TMTMS3
      @TMTMS3 Рік тому

      Clutch is gonna be the weak point. Trans is also gonna end up being a bit of a weak point for people who really push torque and go to the drag strip frequently. Turbo isn’t necessarily a weak point but at our elevation it is running out of steam around 20 to 21psi peak and tapers off pretty hard to around 12psi up top. I expect some bolt ons to show some improvements there, but the turbo responds much better at sea level from what I’ve seen.

    Can you make a tune for the cpt ?

  • @Mazdaspeed_lifestyle

    Will their be a 93 oct tune ? And will it be beneficial to run 93 with this tune or just run 91?

    • @EdgeAutosport
      @EdgeAutosport  Рік тому +1

      No plans yet for a 93 octane tune yet, but you can run 93 no problem. Your benefits are an added layer of protection since higher octane is more knock resistant.
