      @Ken Man Getting rid of a sanguinary regime is not as easy as you may think. China has live under the communist regime for over 50 years. People "run away" for a brighter future not with an individual desire but to provide their family the future they think they deserve.
      Would you fight and die knowing that after your death your family would starve and live with fear the rest of their life?
      Syria and Libya have been in a Civil War for almost 10 years now, they escape the country to literally survive and give their children the opportunity to live life. It's not easy to defeat factions or a whole regime which is financiated by China, USA or Russia and worst if the two parts are being financiated by them.
      These questions your made for others you may ask them for yourself, why do they "run away"? If you've got questions, what do you do when asking is not enough? you should go and investigate then.

    • @2bright2seeh51

      @Ken Man Those you mentioned fell due to economical reasons, richness and power go together, you can't have power and influence without money. CCP is a well established dictatorship. They have the guns, the control, the money and of course the power.

    I find it hard to believe many of them ''love'' Venezuela. I mean, I have no problems with immigrants so long as they don't commit crimes, but Chinese people are widely known here for barely interacting with Venezuelans. Never in my life have I seen a Chinese vote, for example. They're always isolated, they only mix with their own people. I get that the culture is very different, but if you live in your own bubble in the country you immigrate to, you aren't really adapting or becoming a citizen of that country.

    • @dcamacaro1
      @dcamacaro1 6 років тому +27

      Well, yes, most of them behave like that, but others do the opposite, all those chinese sons who were born in Venezuela are just like us. I feel empathy for all of them after this report.

      First, learn the definition of the word 'racist' before using it; ignorance is ugly. Second, the moment you resort to using childish words like 'idiot', you lose the argument. Third, there's no country called Holland, it's The Netherlands. Fourth and finally, as the saying goes, when in Rome do as the Romans do. It's fine to interact with your own people, but you're in a foreign country, adapt, learn the language and culture or leave. Immigration should bring positive things, it's not a shelter for people so they can live in their own bubbles.

      Well, they probably do speak Spanish, but this video is on the South China Morning Post's channel, so I'm assuming that's why they're speaking Chinese in the video. My parents have lived in Venezuela since 1991 and they do speak the language. They do vote. They have learned and are continuing to learn about the culture. I was born in Venezuela. I have a lot of relatives and family friends there too. My parents genuinely love Venezuela. It's where they met, where they married, and where they had their first child. Even in this political and economical climate, they have not left, unlike some of their friends who have returned to China.

      Illyasviel von Einzbern It’s the same situation in countries such as Canada and Australia. Chinese people move there for the lifestyle and passport but rarely do they integrate with the wider society. They’ll have no hesitation going back to China when things turns bad in their “adopted country”. Chinese people, I find, are mostly country shoppers.

Unless you're completely alone and have no chance to interact with others using your mother tongue you're not going to lose it. In his case, I'm sure he hung out with the Chinese community when he was in Venezuela and have access to people back home.
      P.S. I'm trying to figuring out which type of Chinese he's speaking. I can understand him 95-100% because I speak Cantonese but I can tell it's distinct enough to be a separate language. Maybe taishanese?

      Such a dumb comment, how is that any different from any other 1st generation immigrant to any country? Why do you think there is a Little Italy in New York? You think 1st generation Italian Americans who came to America on boats and couldn't speak a lick of English are going to be social butterflies and integrate with WASP Americans like they grew up together? 🤣What if you immigrate to Russia, are you going to make a ton of Russian friends when you can't even understand once sentence of Russian? Just use basic logic. The second generation completely integrates. Come to America and tell me second generation Asians don't integrate when they grew up in the suburbs, speak with an American accent, have friends of all races, literally live amongst every race in America in every type of neighborhood, attain the highest paying jobs which can only be done if you integrate and are well liked by the people in power. There is not even such thing as a "2nd generation Asian American" neighborhood ANYWHERE in the USA - that's how integrated they are, they don't even have their own neighborhoods like Black, White and Latino people do in America. They live amongst everyone and integrate the MOST out of any race.

      It's because they have a language barrier, obviously they're not going to interact with the locals if they are first generation immigrants. If their kids are born and raised in Venezuela, the second generation will be fluent in Spanish and grow up with local friends. It's the same for immigrants everywhere in the world, has nothing to do with them being Chinese or Asian 🤣 You think if you immigrate to France and there is a Venezuelan community there you are going to make tons of local French friends when you can't even speak the language rather than hanging out with your fellow Venezuelans? Of course not - you'll behave the EXACT same way the Chinese behave in your country because you'll be too shy to learn the French language and integrate. Also, Asians are not antisocial, that's such an ignorant comment. Go to Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, even China, people will interact with you, joke with you and chat with you. They are always smiling and are the friendliest people in the world.

      That's because they can't speak the local language. The second generation would totally integrate. Has nothing to do with them being Chinese, literally every first generation immigrant behaves the same way in every country that allows immigration - because they come from a different culture, speak a different language and seek familiarity. All of that doesn't apply to the second generation because they are 100% locals at that point and integrate completely naturally. Why do you think Chinese are successful and live in every region of the world? Because they integrate well and people like them. Otherwise they wouldn't even survive.

      When it used to be 1USD to 8 VFD to 1:8000 anyone would decide to leave, and those who dont are too poor to leave. You would literally starve, just seeing those videos of Venezuelans fighting to steal chickens from a transport truck already makes me not want to live in a country like that.

    • @freeculture
      @freeculture 6 років тому +2

      Criminality, hyperinflation and rampant corruption. Even the non chinese Venezuelans want to leave, we have become a country of unwanted illegal immigrants in all neighbor countries. China does not want Venezuelans even if they were born from chinese couples while living here. Situation is dire and is only getting worse. If you are from a chinese family chances are high you will get kidnapped and ransomed, many have been killed and the police is often involved with the crimes as well, or they commit crimes on their own (demanding money to business owners or else). And what can they do, when venezuelans themselves are hostages of a criminal government, where people are thrown into a dungeon all the time without seeing a lawyer for years. You have no idea how dangerous this place has become, everyone wants to leave and some reports say 4 million (from a 30 million population) have left already. Many people sell everything they own, car, home and all belongings, to barely afford a bus ticket to a neighbor country, where they hope to work in "anything they find" to then buy another bus ticket to keep moving into the next country and so on. It is so easy to blame immigrants when you don't live in a shithole country that won't even give you the documents you are supposed to get to travel (ie. passports apostille, etc) unless you provide a small fortune in bribes and then you can't afford the bus ticket anymore...

    • @Shijaru64
      @Shijaru64 6 років тому +1

      Please, lad, I live in Venezuela. I'm still stuck in that shithole. Well, with any luck Venezuelans will learn their lesson and never elect another leader like Chávez or Maduro. But given humanity's track of short-term memory regarding blunders in history, I'm sure Venezuelans will be stupid enough to repeat the same mistake. The previous elections were the proof of that. Even though Maduro shamelessly committed fraud and pulled 6 millions out of his ass, the small minority of Chabestias that still remain, somehow still think that that vermin is a good president or that there's an ''economic war''. Needless to say, Venezuelans got themselves into this mess. No country will help us.

    • @カスカディア国人

      Thorus Crusius China isn’t quite ready to do that yet, plus China doesn’t like to interfere with other nations, on top of that the US and China are way too tied together economically right now. They are mutually reliant on each other at the moment, although this is becoming less and less the case for China. If things continue in their current direction China will pretty much own the US or what’s left of it in the next 20 years.

      Haha you must be dumb... Long story short, the goverment persecution of the private property, scaring off foreign investors, and control exchange is what is killing venezuela... Your "American economic war" is nothing but a conspiracy theory.
      The Chinese are profiting big time from venezuela's crisis... Lending the bankrupt venezuelan goverment billions of dollars in exchange of assets, resources... China already controls 30% of PSVSA, Wich is venezuela's largest oil company. At this rate venezuela will become a Chinese colony in no time.
