You are not alone with your Beyonce take. I like some of her songs, but I have never been a crazy fan. The funny thing though is that I am absolutely crazy about her latest album which really shocked me. With regards to marriage, my friends always wonder how I stay married. I am DEFINITELY not the typical African wife. My mother lives in perpetual shame at my antics. Fortunately, my husband is a good one. This January, we will be celebrating our 13th anniversary.

I just wanted to add one more comment regarding dating. I’ve always disliked the comments, “The perfect man doesn’t exist or there are no good men.” Because they’re not true and are used as tactics to get women to settle.
You CAN find somebody “perfect” for you! Society wants us to think that when it comes to our life’s desires that it always has to be one OR the other. I desire a man who has great character and is set financially. It doesn’t have to be one OR the other. I can have both because there are men who have both. Ultimately, I’ve been able to date great men that were perfect to me with qualities I value♥️♥️ Accomplished, attractive, romantic etc. This goes for our personal goals too. The sky is the limit over here🥰
I understand what you mean, but I don't think anyone is perfect. . I think we need to be realistic and know that just because someone is "perfect for you" it doesn't make them perfect... Personally I think expecting one person to be EVERYTHING is a lot of pressure. Which is what I was trying to explain with wants vs needs. However if all of that is on your list of needs then that's completely fair as well.
@@Ifeyinwa All that matters when I’m dating is that the person is right for me. Not anybody else. So I disagree because I am able to date men that are what I’m looking for and that is actually perfect! I wasn’t speaking on people as individuals. Just my perspective🥰

Loved watching this video!!!! Agree with you on Beyoncé and your idea of marriage. I also have the same idea of luxury items and agree on having a wishlist and saving towards it. We always have similar items on our wishlist 😁 I have the Maysli in nude as well but my size has been sold out for what feels like ages. Finally made it to London last month and tried it in black so I have an idea of my sizing and waiting for it to be available. It’s so gorgeous and classic ❤

I don’t like Beyoncé’s new album. I was a huge fan and then I started feeling like there is some darkness with her and new music. I can’t vibe with it.
