with all due respect, guys, this is anything but a proper review. No numbers, no measurements, NO FACTS - pretty much nothing apart from keep saying "you guys have never been without power, have you?" and "these things are amazing". Speaking about solar panels - how much watts they REALLY produce? How long does it take to recharge the station? How many watts or %% you could replenish for an hour? Questions, questions, questions...
I have one of these units. They are great but I do find it difficult to keep the charge in the battery. They seem not to charge very fast. Solar alone won't keep up with the power drawn from the fridge, being on all the time.
i have one of these, and they are great, good for both camping and home back up. Only thing with the limitation of charging and 240v power output at the same time as you mentioned, i believe it has something to do with temperature control in the unit, probably due to the size of the inverter. Only a minor issue i reckon, as you can use DC power while charging at the sime time no probs. cheers
I think its due to that pass-through charging they have, the machine thinks it can pass through the current from which the solar gives out which is not enough for the inverter. The same thing can be said if youre charging from 240v.
Itech world never seem to have their solar panels on special I’m a fan of their gear and I’m keen on those panels Would be interesting to see some actual figures on their performance
That’s the draw of the coffee machine in the video. It’s right on the limit, so yes maybe. It works for these guys but it would depend on the brand I would think.

Does it have an anderson outlet for the jumper leads?

Great to hear some feedback from a other owner. I’ve been really impressed with it and it’s so damn light considering everything it has in there!

Ah that makes sense. It’s a shame it doesn’t just switch the pass through off if the inverter is turned on.
What’s the maximum power output you’ve seen from this blanket in full sun? Cheers

We will have try and do some monitoring of the input watts in a future trip.
@@JebbreysJibberish any chance of a test on the numbers?
How long would waeco 50ltr fridge last
Thank you
My old one last over 10 years and when I sold it it was still going. This one, I’ve had for about 3 years so far.

hi there, do you think it would successfully run a coffee machine rated at 1350 watts? thx.

@@JebbreysJibberish thanks for your opinion.
Wait is it only AC power that cannot be used while connected to the solar panel? Can you use the USB or 12V with the solar plugged in simultaneously?
Yes correct. It’s only the inverter and 240v that you can’t use while charging. 12v and USB power is fine to use at the same time.
@@JebbreysJibberish Perhaps 240v cant be used because they want to guarantee that its pure sinewave 240V AC.
That's wrap Gary
