At most festivals you can buy almost anything you need in case you have forgotten it.

Nerves are starting to build up for me as expected. I know this isn't going to be a walk in the park being out in the desert. I am honestly more nervous about who I am going to meet out there and the possible life changes that may occur. They are not bad things by any means but there is anticipation.
I have been reading a lot lately about people experiencing transformations at Burning Man. I was wondering if you had one? If so how did this event change you and your life?
I'm only really nerves about driving over 1,200 miles out there, and over 1,200 miles back to my home here in south Texas. That's an 27+ hour drive!

Wow! You guys have some pretty extreme driving to do! I hope you've planned some stopovers. Even with stopovers I can't imagine doing such a loooong drive. I'd be pretty nervous about it too. Good luck and make an amazing mixtape so you've at least got some good music to entertain you :)
The funny thing is (or at lest for me) is that most of that driving, is just in Texas! (around 750 miles.)
But I live in San Antonio. lol
I plan to celebrate my 40th birthday at Burning Man.
I'll be celebrating my 60th there this year.. so excited as it's been a 30 yr dream of mine to go..

I am from Australia and I really want to go when I turn 21 !
Beck Fraser I am also an Aussie and I know of 3 burning man like events that happen around Australia. There is ModiFyre in Yelarbon, Queensland. Burning Seed in Matong, New South Wales or Blazing Swan in Kulin Western Australia. Having never been to burning man myself I can't comment on the difference between all these events to the orginal Burning Man but knowing how expensive international travel is these events might be a good experience to start with till you can travel overseas.
