Impressive private museum. Been fun to see it grow over the past few years in your videos, getting fuller and fuller. Makes my little corner look inadequate. Touch wood, I have avoided the dreaded flu so far. Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks Chris....its also a good place to plane spot, I'm in the flight path of a local airport, although it is some miles away...I like watching the small planes come and go..and I've seen the battle of britain flight go by and also a Lancaster flew right over my house once as it was heading back down south....good stuff🙂🙂
@ChrisfurrsMilitaria1941 cheers Chris....tail ends is enough I reckon. We often get the military jets from RAF Leeming, I think its that one, flying over . Tornados probably, I'm not up on modern planes...RAF Leeming is about an hour away by car but in a modern jet , no time at all 🙂🙃🙂

Cheers Luke, I did have a video on my channel about it , but I took my channel down a couple of years ago and since I re-started I didn't do it again, I will do a video on it....there's actually two on there, both Ottway scopes/sights. I honestly can't remember which guns they came off.....I will do a video next week about them....I know the smaller one has 'L & R' inside with the cross hairs to track targets moving left and right , the bigger one has a circular sight, I would think for shooting at aircraft 🙂🙂
@steelhelmetstan7305 I purchased a sighting scope at a carboot a few months back that looks very similar to your smaller one. It has the L and R for moving targets. I found out its for a British 6pdr anti tank gun made by Albo dated 1943

I love Ben Elton's comedy ..I remember some joke about chocolate being used to seduce us men with succulent ladies..like with adverts for 'Flake' (girl in the bath taking the chocolate around her lips) which he aligned to a blow job.. lol .. and just when I could breathe again after all the laughter he quipped ''and look at the Mars bar.. it's even got the veins on the sides !' 🤣😂
