subtle flex of the monette unity!
That’s not a Unity
Not a unity 😂
A lot of guys actually go back to their prana resonance over the unity line
@@columbusindianaphilharmoni8486I’m one of them
Woah that’s cool do they make custom non-lead pieces because I’m struggling to find something that works good for me?
Google Ivan Giddings he makes stainless steel or titanium mouthpieces I'm happy w/ mine
Are there other companies that do something similar? I don’t have $225 to try this.
Just get a Bobby Shew - Lead!
Trumpet 👍
They don't send the kits overseas anymore.
What's Bigger Than A Bach 1C?
So do they do that for trombone and eupho
does the bobby shew FLUGAL mouthpiece fit on a Bb trumpet?
I don't think that's a V cup. From looking at it it looks like a U cup, I use the X piece which really sinks in like a V
what mouthpiece do you use
The company said that they no longer ship internationally last time I checked. 😢
This mouth piece name please??? Love from Kerala💚💚💚
I may be dumb for asking this but do you need to be lead trumpet to use the lead mouthpiece, because im not lead trumpet and i bought one and it works great 😅😅
"Lead" mouthpieces typically have shallow cups which makes hitting higher notes somewhat easier. There's a trade-off though, harder to control, and low notes harder.
Yeah, for the cheap price of $195
Honestly a steal for what you’re getting
average price
You return it and only have to pay 30 dollars shippping
That’s a really good deal
so do go on a mouthpiece safari or don't?
Haha it’s ok to look for mouthpieces that make your life easier, the mouthpiece safari was just to make the point that a single mouthpiece can’t do everything (Usually).
It is a double edge sword, I agree with both points, you should experiment and find a few good mouthpieces that work for you. I also agree that you should avoid the mouthpiece safari. From my own experience, in college I was searching for the holy grail of mouthpieces that would magically let me play like a pro without practicing.
Of course we know that doesn't exist. Practice is most important to sounding like a pro. Once the practice routine is achieved, you should be able to identify what is holding you back. Is it the technique or is it the equipment. Most of the time it is technique, but there will be times when it truly is the equipment. When it is the equipment, you now have an idea of what you are looking for the equipment to do for you. Good luck! Remember, the holy grail doesn't exist but quality equipment does. Practice first, then your search will have focus and will save you some cash.
@@jeremyanderson2094 Well said!
Can you play it in a video?
I think he can't. He talks too much in all of his video 🤔
No playing? You're talking too much :(
My playing is not the point of the video lol
@@jesse-tpt6959 therefore you can't play or what? :(
