Having climbed it in the winter as well with some ice and snow on it, if someone was to ask I probably wouldn't recommend the trip because those stairs get awfully slick.
Hey Skye, are you planning to visit the New Jersey rooftop at High Point State Park? Only 1800 feet, but it is very beautiful. On the way, you could stop by one of the tour coal mines in NE PA. One in Ashland, one in Scranton. From High Point, it is not too long a drive to Mt. Frissell (Connecticut), and right up the road from there is Mt. Greylock (Massachusetts). When you did Jerimoth Hill, I wondered why you didn't take in these 3 Northeastern high points
Thanks for the tips. New Jersey may go down as the script that has taken longest to complete. Started writing it back in the summer of 2016 but every chance I've had to get there has gone sideways. I'm hoping to film New Jersey and New York this coming summer (2019) for season 6. New England episodes will all be lumped together in Season 7 for exactly the reasons you laid out. They are "relatively" close together, (looking at you Maine) and we can film them in about 10-12 days.
Nice!! I loved the view from the top of that tower but it was a little sketchy climbing to the top- LOL - it's a shame ppl carved curse words into that topographical map at the top- another great video! :) well done!
Thank you! When I was there the first time in December 2014 I had great visibility. This last time was bust and those stairs were so wet and slippery I almost biffed it about four times.
LOL! If it had been worse conditions you may be right, these were just low hanging rain clouds. By the time we were actually wrapping up it was starting to clear out.
My home state! Another well done video.
Nicely done!
Thank you! I recently went back and re-filmed this one and made it a bit more comprehensive.
Awesome video 👍Visited here back in 1992. There was a pretty decent little pizza/sub shop in nearby Salisbury, PA
My favorite place to visit is actually across the state line in Maryland. Casselman's Bridge is a cool place to photograph. Thanks for watching!
Brave of you to climb the the tower in the rain. Definitely a little sketchy even when dry haha

Another winner Skye...
Thanks!

Let's start gettin' after those Western summits.
Slowly but surely. More coming this summer!
It's actually Negro Mountain, not "Nigro Mountain" lol
sitting on a metal tower at the highest point in pennsylvania while it's raining. probably not the best place to be.

Informative as always, since this comment I've watched like 20 of your videos lol, they are addictive. Hope more people find your vids.
Thank you! Good timing, a new episode drops tomorrow!
