Hi i'm Joe, I have created this UA-cam channel to show my progression from a skinny teenager who is sick of being skinny to hopefully in the future being more muscular and just better in general both physically and mentally.
If you do enjoy my content it would mean lot if you could hit the like button and maybe even consider subscribing. Thank you!

Obviously it is important to mention that the body gets back muscle way easier if it was built in the near past (around a year) so that is why Hal built muscle so fast. But it stiil takes hard work! I am really happy for him
Thanks ;)
Yes 100%. I did mention in the video that muscle memory was in play 💪🏼
he did mention it
@@steviejrr You are right! I just didn't know that you also call "this" muscle memory
@@vincenagy7729 that's the main term for it.
I let myself get to a pretty bad state. At over 500lbs I discovered channels like this. I could barely walk for more than 5 minutes, but watching these vids helped inspire me to start a weight loss journey channel of my own. Now I’ve already dropped 47lb in only 21 days! Watch this space! 😊
Is losing 47lbs in 21 days healthy?
Subbed!
@@veryneff8411 yes. I’m uploading a vlog about it right now. Check it out! 😊

Wish he’d been able to watch my videos before it happened. Typing this as I lay here with my broken arm. So much coukd be been done preventatively.

“Muscle memory” is a real thing, meaning it’s much easier to fairly quickly regain much of your lost lean muscle mass & strength as long as long as too much time hasn’t passed & you’re doing things properly.
Glad your friend recovered his lost gains so well after that injury, which should be a good example for anyone feeling defeated if an injury takes them out of their training routine.
This is what he should have put more importance on cause now kids will get discouraged when they don't look like him after 2 months. Cause in reality, no noob lifter can do this in that time.

I really needed to hear this message today! I've been out of training for nearly 6 weeks now due to injury & being sick ...lost some muscle but after seeing this I'm pumped to win it back again!! Thanks joe!! 💪😁

Always a good ass day when Joe uploads…
On a real, I’ve been chubby all my life and yet these videos are so fucking entertaining, and give me a fuck ton of motivation to lose weight, which I’m doing. Thanks Joe.
you could see the determination within Hal to get his gains back, keep grinding and never give up, that's when the results happen, good work fellas
respect to anyone who is doing well and suddenly gets a major challenge thrown at them knocking back their progress and yet still manages to get back up on there feet. that's true inner strength right there.
i've been lacking motivation recently but that's motivated me to get back on track, thanks joe and hal!
Great transformation video, loved that you didn’t drag it out and over hype it, well done Hal!
This is a cool ass video, ive never been as big as your friend but i stopped working out for a while because of anxiety and not being able to fall asleep. Which is terrible for when you are trying to be consistent. Honestly, life is so unexpected and you never know what problem might be creeping around the corner. Thats why slow and steady progress should always be looked at as a blessing.
I dislocated my shoulder in an electric longboard crash almost a year ago and I am still working back to full recovery and the strength that I had before. Thanks for the awesome story and video this was good for me to see.
This is a super relatable situation for me however I’ve been out of the gym for 2 years due to a labrum tear in my shoulder. I weighed 190lbs with some decent numbers for my lifts and am now 165lbs. I’m still in the recovery process as I just got the surgery and I really hope to make a comeback. I can’t wait… thanks for the motivation.
Had surgery on my hand 2 months ago and just starting back in the gym - thanks for this!! Way to go Hal
Hal comeback is insane! Keep it up Hal.
Thanks bro 💪
Just wanted to say that I bought your programme, not because I needed it, but because I've been enjoying your content for the past few months and I'm happy that i can support you.
Wow, that's a major change in 60 days!💪
The human body is incredible..Muscle memory knows it's job! Great video!
Video is so well put together, awesome how you are supporting your mates channel also. Hal is a legend
Thank you bro 🙏
thank you, Mr Bateman
Looking good Hal, you’re guys are gonna go so far in fitness I can see it for sure, keep grinding 💪🏻💪🏻
So proud of Hal omg
Thanks Anna!!
i reallly enjoy watching your videos because good quality, well edited and the subjects are good so keep up the work
To all the skinny guys in comments... I used to be very skinny and had no confidence at all. I was doing some workouts here and there but one thing was obviously missing - diet. It is true when they say you can't overtrain a bad diet. When I finally started taking care of my diet (which I created from Nextlevel diet) my body responded very well and I managed to put on some muscle. I started out because of the girls, but now they are the least reason I exercise. I do it to stay healthy, both physically and mentally.
I was eating like 3500 cals last summer and didn't gain any weight. It says my intake is 2700 cals. I kinda stopped around September and ate less because I was eating the same food every day and got bored of them and opted for skipping meals. Now I struggle to finish food. Any tips to get my appetite back?
Do you mean you started eating more (clean) food?
What is dietarize? I’ve been looking to put on some more weight and I was wondering if it’s good
did dietarize help a lot did you see results ?
@@bigtonyrocks appetite probably never come to you unless you are eating really tasty food, that said something that might help you increase you caloric and protein intake for the day as well as increase stomach volume over time, are liquid calories; you can make your own smoothie with as many ingredients as you want, however I recommend 750 ml milk, protein powder and greek Joghurt.
The amount of protein depends on your weight and all of that, but something like 30-60 grams should be enough.
Also in case you're not taking creatine, i can't recommend it enough to you.
And a final tip, DON'T FORGET ABOUT SLEEPING. Growth and change comes when you rest so don't overlook this part of your workout.
Keep pushing king, we are all gonna make it
love this channel because its so real !
Hal you Are such a beast Well done
great transformation Hal. Keep it up now!
This is crazy. My friend and I longboard and workout together he fell and broke his wrist this past summer, kinda crazy how similar the situations are between us.
Joe and his friends proving the world anyone can make it :)
THIS IS CRAZY! My guy should be so proud of himself. Good video man keep it up mad love and respect!
I can see coach Greg saying he’s taking roids lmao
Or sarms🤣
@@b-ruther-gamingcubingandmo5277 yes but tbh a normal noob lifter couldn't make this much progress. Mostly cause they don't have a trainer who has dedicated his life to fitness, and any prior experience to lifting.
@@veryneff8411 this kinda of progress is easily achievable naturally from just running an 8-12 week novice strength program. Like the ICF 5x5 or even the 2.0
Three words: banked up myonuclei
Thing is I don't think he'd say that cuz coach Greg knows about muscle memory, and this is muscle memory of Hals old physique and strength coming back to him
I genuinely like this UA-cam video edit a lot! Great job.
I haven't been in the gym since I DESTROYED my shoulder. Surgeries, completely immobile, 16 months of PT, lost every gain and then some. Thanks for the motivation.
Great content Joe! Love it.
Just ordered a copy of your program hope it helps me get this skinny body to some gains.💪🏻
I've been wondering how Hal was doing i am glad he didn't give up. Keep it up champ 💪
:)
Please make the series ‘From Hal to Hulk’ but what a bounce back and more gains to come 💪🏽
I’m going through the same phase has your friend. I fractured my neck back in July only starting to get back to the gym now. I didn’t lose anywhere near as much weight or muscle mass as him, but muscle memory has completely diminished and my strength has changed a lot
been waiting for this!
Big up Hal fucking legend, don’t care about muscle memory and all that, just pure class work
This inspires me on a different level.. I underwent my stomach's surgery 2 weeks ago and currently on bed rest and soft diet.. I have lost 5 kg of my body weight and most of my muscle mass... Waiting to be able to hit the gym again :)
Great transformation.Keep up!
Whens 100kg bench coming joe!!! We need a 1rm update!!! Sick progress so far!!!!

amazing progress
I am 17 yrs old, 6 weeks into my bulk, and i am getting so much inspiration from joe! I went from 72kg to 79kg already, just 3 full body w/os a week.
Ino u might tink 79 kg is good weight, but u see i am 6ft 2!! So i always look skinny! Anyway, i just wanna thank joe!
Omg he hearted my comment 😂😂

Bench 5×5
Squats 5×20 (only at 20kg)
Deadlift 3x5
Rows 3x6
Close grip bench 3x6
Leg extensions 3x10
Hammy curls 3x10
Incline bech 3x6
Bicep curls 3x8
Hammer curls 3x8
Skull crushers 3x10
The reason for the 5x20 squats is coz i dont hav squat rack so i literally have to clean jerk the bar up into a shoulder press 😅 so i dont wanna damage my back 😂
I dont hav diet i just eat as much as poss and keep drinking milk. I drink about 500ml to 1 ltr every day
The gains are insane
Pure motivation
Hey joe I love your videos, but can you make them a bit longer? Keep up the good work 👍🏼
hal is the absolute goat!

Thanks :)
At the 3:00 point, we observe two similar corpses. It goes without saying that the body recovers muscle far more quickly if it was created recently. I'm glad your friend recovered his lost gains so quickly after his accident, which should serve as an inspiration to anybody who feels dejected when an ailment forces them to miss a workout.
