Ive been useing this videos to keep up with my notes for my as level exam and thanks to you I might actually have a chance to passing. Literally a week ago before I found this I had expectations of failing but now I feel way more capable! Thank you so so so so so sooooo much! You're a legend
Just an opinion I would interchange the letters a and b so b represents the base of the log. This makes it easier for students to relate to the concept :-).. last example with in the logarithmn divide through by x to give x/3=25 just a thought 🙂
hey, thank you so much for your videos they are so helpful!! one thing, do you think you’d be able to add more challenging questions towards the end of the videos (like you have in your gcse vids)?? thank you!
No problem! Glad to hear you are finding them useful, I will do in the lesson videos these are just chapter overviews! I’ve got some specific lessons in the a level playlist but I’ve still got a lot to make 😁🙏🏼
Everything is great except when in our exams we are not allowed to use the calculator to find the answers for logs with different bases. Can you please also explain how to calculate log using the logarithm table.
Hello, just gonna say that answer of last question is kinda wrong. If you substitute in log5(0)², you will get an undefined answer. Therefore, the answer of 0 should be rejected. Thank you

Omg how was it
how did it go??
This is so helpful... logs and exponentials are my worst topic, but I'm beginning to understand them now
Very good explanation. This will make students to understand the topic very well.

How does this help me cutting trees?
“Great question, in our next video we will be showing how to cut trees using logarithmic techniques ”

just finished gcse now working a bit on a levels

you can divide through by x but sometimes doing that will result in you losing one of the solutions, so its better to factorise

for the final equation could you simplify (x^2/3x) to (x/3), it also gets rid of the zero for you
yepp, thats a whole lot quicker ngl
@@AshVentureOfficial you can lose a mark even though getting the 0 is an invalid answer, as the examiner doesnt know why you have done it

8:32 im a uni student...not allowed to use a calculator so i basically dont need to do this and it just stays as log to the base of 5 gives us 10 = x?
Thank you
🎉 thank you
You’re welcome 😊

Cheers for showing me where the button was, I couldn't find it!
Thank you!
Thank uuuuuuu
Thx for the recap
thankyou :)
i don't understand the step at 24:30 how do you now it is equal to 5 squared
5 was raised to the power of 2 as they were removing the log
5 was the base, so raising it to c=2 gives us the b=

you can’t do that

Why does nobody show you how to do it with different bases?

Yeah that's why he chose x = 75, because its a possible answer
