Maybe the card is too big for it? Some have a limit, like 128GB or even less? If its formatting it ok, it should be saving to it. You could try also formatting it Fat32 from a computer and then inserting it and see if that helps.
I’m not sure. Most battery cameras will only record and store events. For full 24/7 the doorbell would need to be plugged in or possibly paired with a solar cell charger
I love Ezviz and I have great experience with Ezviz CCTV cameras till I bought exactly this model. I have to say I am extremenly disappointed. It is not good as in many videos reviews I've seen. Huge delay in call, answering, comunication etc. Everything is bad. Yes. VERY BAD.

Can you view locally stored (on the SD Card) video remotely with the app?
I think you need cloud for that as otherwise you would need to make sure your router allows the remote connection

You need access to internet to view content via the app. Otherwise you’ll have to remove the card every time to check anything.
Can you wire db2 for charging with example existing wire. Transformator
I can’t remember if it has wired connections. If it states it does it should be able to charge as long as the transformer is powerful enough to do it.
Is the Ezviz db2 doorbell available in thr united states?
I think so. If not, it might be under a different name or update seeing as this is a little old now
Why does this doorbell keeps going offline?
Check if there is any interference that might be blocking the signal. Try optimising the connection to it if your router has this option.
