When I moved to CA years ago, I had an issue with USPS losing a few boxes of stuff I shipped from home on the east coast. I called them, I swear, every day. They couldn't give me ANY information. It took a couple of weeks, but I got my stuff. Hopefully, they just forgot to add tracking info and everything gets where it needs to go!

A friend is having the same problem with an old woman next-door and another person on Facebook I saw had a neighbor who is an older woman who’s being very crotchety. What’s with horrible old women neighbors lately?
I think the explanation really helped me not form any judgment. You had legit reasons and honestly you were keeping safe and it’s awesome to see considering a lot of people don’t care

blond roast is stronger caffiene wise but lighter flavor wise. the way I memorized that is the phrase "the lighter the bean, the more caffiene" lol

How much caféine is in the coffe depend on the way the coffee is made (expresso, drip coffee, etc) not on the way beans are roasted ! The roast is about the taste

White Unroasted coffee has the most caffeine and is a specialty coffee that’s why you can rarely find it and it’s more expensive.
Blonde slightly less caffeine and roasted
Medium roast is the typical 50g of caffeine per cup and sold every where
Dark roast minimal caffeine and burnt giving it a darker flavor
Decaf - roasted past the point of no return and shouldn’t be be called coffee
ju hnt no, IceCutes is right lol. Caffeine levels depend on the roast of coffee and not the method of brewing the coffee. The more you roast the coffee, the more caffeine is cooked out of the bean. I was a barista for a few years and am a scientist.

It's so horrible, especially because people rely heavily on shipping services these days. From small businesses, to people who can't afford to go out otherwise, both parties being affected by greedy, insensitive people. I hope it will get sorted out and the person(s) at fault will get their karma back.

Yes! I read this happened to someone and then the next time it happened again but they recorded shipping the package and everything and that’s when they said “oh we are sorry we will investigate’’ and then suddenly the “found” the package. It’s so sus on their part. Record everything, especially high value items being shipped
USPS has been a bit shady the past couple of weeks. more specifically my amazon packages. i’ve been shipping for my small business for the past 10 years =) with that being said..for that guaranteed peace of mind..i go into the USPS myself, w/ALL the packages & i either individually scan or batch scan them, then all i do is ask for a receipt before i leave. =) i’ve learned MANY things along the way, but now i can say i’ve mastered shipping. hehe. anyhow, best of luck to you looking forward =)

Alyssa i’ve programmed myself to check the shipping status on ALL my outgoing packages everyday at around 2PM. it gives me peace of mind. one thing for sure is that they have been lagging on delivering, but we just have to understand that USPS is prolly just taking extra precautions when delivering packages..every bit counts when it comes to helping “flatten the curve” ..nah mean? hope your packages get to where they need to be soon! =)

Hey Tara. I had to go to the grocery store and decided that I would grab the ingredients for your tik tok coffee. I got so excited seeing the coffee, sugar and hot water whisking to a beautiful fluff. Mixed in my milk, cream and vanilla essence and WOW. Took my dog Sammy for a walk drinking my amazing coffee. Met a lovely person on my walk (our dogs had a play) and told her about the coffee drink. She had heard about it and was excited that it actually works. So a big thank you for this ingenious way to make my coffee. 😍

I had hundreds of dollars worth of inventory delivered to my house instead of my warehouse with all of this stuff going on and the mailman put it in someone’s else’s mail box! I had to go door to door asking if anyone had it because I didn’t wanna lose out on all my product- luckily my neighbors are gems and someone brought it back to me right away! I swear usps never gets anything right!

I feel so sorry for the lost packages :( I know it can be frustrating. Our mailman leaves the packages on the window if no one is around. Convenient, but our house faces the street, and literally anyone can come up and grab it. Unless I didn't notice, we haven't lost any, but it's still unsafe.

Honestly that sucks but honestly the way you handled this was so professional- sending money back and waiting to tell people until you guys were ready.
When using nair make sure you don’t leave it on too long! I left it on too long a few times (10 minutes but that was too long for my skin) and it left me with a chemical burn, so make sure you test it over a small area first!

Oh no! I'm so sorry about your packages being stolen. You have handled it like a true professional though. You truly are a business woman. I definitely start taking them to the post office . I know it's a pain but they give you a reciept everytime and a tracking number on your reciept and the person's name on the reciept that took your package. Oh and your going to love the makeup brush cleaner.

If you need more vid ideas I think you should do a “what I spend in quarantine” like other youtubers have done! Ik you did one a bit ago (I think so at least?) but I’ve really been enjoying the quarantine versions bc either people spend so much less or so much more lol! But I know they do get some hate, so I understand if you don’t want to. I just love how transparent you are about everything it takes guts to be so vulnerable on the internet!

It's super frustrating but you're right on the money that you've just got to keep going... I'd love to know why all of a sudden there's so much shady stuff happening with USPS right now!

Honestly, I haven't bought anything from you just yet(bills during the virus are a killer on my bank lol), but I still extremely appreciate you being so upfront with the situation and that you're giving a full refund to everyone who's orders are gone, even if their packages get found eventually. but yes unlike popular belief dark roast has the LEAST amount of caffeine!!!
If you measure your coffee by scoops, light roasted coffee will have more caffeine. Since the beans are denser than a darker roast. However if you weigh out your scoops, darker roasts will have more caffeine, because there is less mass.
Yep both these comments are true, and in the roasting process it does toast away a little bit of caffeine

Fun fact about blond roast from a barista! Blond roast is stronger in caffeine, not flavor. Actually, the darker the roast, the less caffeine. So you’re coffee didn’t taste less strong because of more milk, it’s just that it’s more of a mellow flavor, less acidy, but more caffeine.
I work in logistics...things that should have delivered the next day have been stuck for almost a month with our couriers...unfortunately it's the nature of the business and the situation that's going on. Super annoying when I have to explain this to my customers though.

I am currently reading atomic habits, I recommend taking notes on the book and learning about some of the people he talks about in it. I love it and it really leads you to a better understanding of how you have created all of these bad habits and ways to stop and switch them out with better ones. You’ll love it!!
VERY suss about the packages/USPS - BECAUSE, back at end of March we had a similar situation in Texas! .. USPS scanned the packages at the drop-off as being collected, then NOTHING. The packages just up n disappeared between the pickup and the sorting in Dallas. Makes me wonder if there's some kind of 'organised ring' working within USPS..... * feelz * for you darls!

USPS is apparently overwhelmed and understaffed. Many shipments are lost and delivered way late. Tracking just shows label printed, meaning they are not bothering to scan anything. During this time you need to switch to FedEx.

You should totally try the Nair "mask" editions! I got the green clay version and love it! And I feel like it smells just slightly less chemically.
Barista here! Blonde roast taste wise isn’t as strong, but it actually has more caffeine than medium or dark roasts (except for shots of espresso). It isn’t roasted as long, that’s why. The lighter the bean, the more caffeine!
This is why I always take all of my shipments directly to the post office and have them scanned one by one. When I walk in with a hundred packages, they give me the dirtiest looks. But I don’t even trust the scan page that you can use for all the items together. I’ve had too many issues with shipping.
I hope you can have your local post master look into the carrier who was suppose to pick them up to see whether they were picked up or not. Ours had to do something similar and he was able to track down the packages we shipped from our Etsy shop. Shipping can sometimes be a nightmare. Wishing you lots of luck!

I live in Los Angeles and my buildings mailbox was broken into, also. All of our mail was stolen and I know other buildings in the area were hit, too. It sucks!
My order was one of the packages that got stolen. I was bummed, but really appreciate the communication and refund. I can't wait to put in another order soon!
USPS said they lost my order
Tara, I make iced coffee with Starbucks Medium Roast as well and it’s been hard to find this week. So I looked up how Starbucks makes their cold brew coffee. Bought some Starbucks whole bean coffee, ground it, added water and let it brew in the fridge for 24 hours. It tastes amazing! It’s WAY cheaper! One bag is the same cost as one bottle and the one bag will make between 15-20 bottles!
tip: you should get glass containers to store your food in. plastic containers can cause micro plastic particles to get into your food when you heat it that can be harmful

In my last job, I oversaw the shipment of hundreds upon hundreds of boxes and shipment for an apparel product development line and we lost random boxes frequently in the hands of UPS/Fedex. If the boxes were indeed just lost by USPS and not stolen (and it seems unlikely that one individual could just take off with everything that USPS was supposed to have), most of them will likely show up. Things don't just evaporate, just sometimes takes time to get them back on their way.
Coming from a Usps employee, when they pick up the pick up order that have to scan a barcode for confirmation. Also have to scan all of the packages as accepted.. so you should have know the day of or the next day tops whether or not he picked them up or not.. if it was a different carrier than normal there is a possibility that he didn’t see where they were at for the pick up.. hopefully they turn up, and weren’t stolen! 💙
