    can we all appreciate how Tara is probably one of the most relatable youtubers. She’s not living in a huge house and choosing to use her money to invest in herself as a brand by having a clothing company. She’s probably one of the only influencers who takes her job seriously and it’s so refreshing and appreciated 💕

    Honestly, as long as you’re being as safe as you can I don’t see anything wrong with having a designated safe friend that you allow yourself to see. especially when you’re all alone 99% of the time. I don’t fault you whatsoever.

      Nonsense! You should always be as safe as you can be. If you are sick, stay home. If you want to live in fear, stay home. Let the rest of us have our rights and freedoms back. You are taking them from us.

    My mom and I hugged the other day. We don’t live together and I had just had a really awful panic attack from just missing everyone and a sense of normalcy. So we hugged. It is a risk, but sometimes you have to weight those risks and maybe take them! I am thankful that you shared this, it definitely makes me feel better!

      ♥️♥️ Love this comment. I am a grown woman & live alone and guess what, I need my Momma!!! Especially right now!! Haven’t been around another soul besides her in months, I always keep my distance while around her but I did get a hug the other day on my birthday and we both have zero regrets. We will all persevere through this, no matter how differently we all do so!

      Times like this make me feel blessed to be a grown woman who lives at home. I get to see my family on the regular since we all live together. We're super tight knit and I'd go crazy not being able to see them! Also, agreed with what other people said: you don't need to explain yourself! Every person's situation is different and it sounds like you guys really were thoughtful about everything. While I'm in a high risk group (asthma) and my Dad is diabetic, I know I need to be more careful (especially since me and Mom and are ESSENTIAL employees lol). But yeah you still need that human contact! We actually just moved at the end of March, I finally live in the same state as my bestie... but we haven't been able to see each other and it's rough! We're currently talking/planning the safest way to see each other now that restrictions are being lifted. But yeah, you did nothing wrong girl! If anything, you went over the proper way for people to handle wanting to see others. :)

      Agreed! I feel so bad that she is always defending everything she does! She doesn’t need to! She literally isn’t doing anything wrong yet others have made her to feel like she has and that’s so messed up! I have noticed her defending her actions more and more for just normal things. We all need to continue to live our lives and we can be smart and safe about it still. My best friend and I have been struggling real bad lately with anxiety and finally just got together in my backyard and kept our distance but just needed to be able to talk face to face! It helped so much! Lack of human interaction can be seriously damaging for some. Physical health is super important right now but that shouldn’t overshadow mental health either! Mental health is just as important!!!

    • @hannahgranito898
      @hannahgranito898 4 роки тому +2

      Allyson Porter this was very well said!!!! And completely true! Mental health is just as important as physical if not more. There are safe ways to do things. But having everyone get anxiety or increase their anxiety or depression is not okay... and if a little human contact from 6 feet away is just something that is going to brighten your day then so be it. You have to do what’s best for you. We are not meant to be alone. Also I agree 100% she has been stating her case for everything. And I get it she has an audience but also it’s her life like the whole witch thing never had to explain half of that to us it wasn’t a reality show or her relationship like that’s a lot to tell a friend or family member let alone the internet. I have been watching her for years and it sucks that she and other you tubers have to explain everything because someone has something to say about it.

    I’m a big at-home pusher and you’re fine! Don’t stress this. You did everything right and so did your friend. You have masks, sanitizer and you’re outdoors. You’re fine. It’s the concerts/movie theaters/festivals/etc that will not be happening this year- unless the scientists come up with something. I went to the beach yesterday with my kids and hubs. First time for us. But we live in a small town that doesn’t have a crazy population. So navigating outdoors is very easy.
    You should just put a visual checklist for viewers whenever you do an “going out” vid, that way you appease your anxiety and are responsible to the people watching you. Glad you enjoyed the fresh air- have fun 🥰

    • @erikrenner
      @erikrenner 4 роки тому +3

      Foolishness. Masks are ineffective. Less than 1% of the population has died from COVID19. 99% LIVE!!!! You have been manipulated and brainwashed. Educate yourself. Stop listening to the MSM (propaganda machine) and politicians. I know people in the medical field...personally. The regular seasonal flu is much worse and kills way more people. H1N1 killed way more people. People, such as yourself, are why our rights and freedoms are being stripped from us right now. You all bend over and take it up the ass...unfortunately. if you are sick, stay home! If you want to live in fear, stay home! smdh

    • @artie1694
      @artie1694 4 роки тому +8

      Erik Renner it sounds like you’ve been listening to “msm” of your own ilk. Because whoever told you the handmade/surgical masks are to prevent catching, gaslit you.
      Handmade/Surgical Masks are used to prevent one’s OWN germs from spreading to others. This is not new information nor new studies. Society has been using them properly for decades. Sadly, it doesn’t sound like you understand how they are used correctly. But I can explain it so that you can educate yourself. Wearing your OWN mask makes you responsible for your OWN germs and protecting others from your OWN germs
      But we appreciate you participating in the conversation.

    I agree 100% I live in Houston, which has reopened and there’s definitely great risk with how normal people are taking this. The streets are full right now. There’s measures but obviously not everyone cares that much. I personally see my boyfriend and he sees me and that is okay and I don’t think anyone can tell somebody they are “quarantining” wrong. The fact that some people are “policing” what others do is absurd. People need to mind their own business and understand that most people are reasonable and responsible and do not want to get or pass this disease. We live in a free country. We’re all free to make the best decisions we can for our own lives and households. It’s up to each person to assess their own situations. All states, cities, counties and neighborhoods are different. We can’t stay shut down forever. At some point life has to go on and we will just have to adapt. Tara, there is nothing wrong with you seeing your friend. Don’t worry about anyone who might criticize you. You’re a very conscientious person who is obviously taking all the recommended precautions. ❤️

    i respect you for being honest with this. i have been doing the same. social distancing is very important but also life goes on and we need to return to some level of normalcy. also studies have shown that getting covid-19 outside is quite a bit less likely than if you’re inside.

    you're probably the best example of how to go about this! I live on long island and our nature preserve and beaches have remained open and I've been going with my parents when they walk their dog, all masked up. we are in similar situation where neither parties are seeing anyone else. I think that the toll of being physically alone for as long as this is projected to go on for is just not feasible the toll on mental health is really bad so having a designated safe friend is such a good idea!

    TBH I feel like during this whole thing all any body can do is to do whatever they are comfortable with while putting the fewest amount of ppl at risk. To some people, they feel fine getting takeout, to others they couldn't imagine doing it. Some people are comfortable going on socially distanced walks while others are not. It's all about comfortability. this is a time to promote positivity and not shame people for "not quarantining properly" :) you do you and stay healthy xx

    I feel bad that Tara has to always defend what she’s either doing or saying. Girl, you should not have to defend everything you do or say! You seriously are one of the few that I feel like actually has common sense and is completely realistic with your life! You’re only human like the rest of us and definitely need to get out and see friends and all. People who hate are just jealous and bored most likely. I finally had my best friend over and we hung out outside in my backyard keeping our distance with a couple drinks just talking for hours! Of course we could have just FaceTime or texted like we have been for months but seeing her face to face finally really did wonders for both of our mental health! We both have been struggling with anxiety pretty badly lately and having that face to face interaction helped tremendously! You should not have to always defend your actions though and I feel so bad that so many damn haters have made you feel so guarded to have to explain/defend yourself all the time. You are so amazing! I recently started following you from tiktok a couple months ago and you’ve quickly become one of my favorites to watch (especially during this crazy time)! Keep doing you girl and forget the haters or anyone who goes against you! The real ones will always care and support no matter what and you’re actually a real one! Thank you for that! Those who don’t like that just need to move along! Get out and do you girl and stay safe like you have been and all will be well! 💪🏼 ❤️
