- An Indian school in Lagos refusing admission to Nigerians students has been threatened to shut down by the governor of Lagos Nigeria. There are many Indian SL living in Nigeria. Indians in Nigeria have created an Indian community that has schools and many other businesses
But the Nigerian government has insisted that the Indian schools must obey Nigerian laws

in 2013, I was in a supermarket in Abuja in a queue, when an Indian man came with his shopping and went straight to the front of the queue. I was number 5 in line. To my shame and indignation, none of the people in front of me said a word. I went to the Indian man and asked why he moved to the front of the queue. Apart from looking shocked that I confronted him, he could not give me an explanation . However, the cashier interjected, asking me to let the Indian man go first. I explained to her that I would NEVER permit that. I told the Indian man to go to the back of the queue and he did! Often we are our own worst enemies - we do not treat one another with respect but are very willing to defer to other people as long as they are not of our own race.

That's because Indians (especially from rural areas villages or towns) are not accustomed to standing in queues and waiting your turn. He was just not exposed to it. I've seen this in India having lived there for a while.

Agreed...but sir...can we even ask ourselves why are Nigerians seeking admissions into Indian schools for their kids ...are we saying Nigeria as a country does not have schools owned by Nigerians good enough for Nigerians...atimes we need to do self assessment of what we do and how we do things to make this indians wanna treat us as second class citizens even in our country...same goes for other schools set up by foreign nationals...if you ask me...such acts tends to give this vibes of not low self esteem and confidence in ourselves and the Naija system as a whole🙏

Why would a Nigerian want to pull their child out of a Nigerian school to send him/her to an Indian, Lebanese or Arab school.
Even if born in Nigeria, if they don't have a Nigerian father, no give them past 2yrs residents permit.
To renew, their employees and employers, plus taxes, etc all need to be checked out.

I noticed this when i went to an Indian restaurant/bar on Fani kayode Street. They treated the white expatriates like they were VIP guests and looked at us with disdain, like something they scrapped off the bottom of their shoe. I was angry and wanted to kick off but my cousin who took me there asked me not too. I plan to go there when I'm next in Nigeria and go on my own, they will now realise that there is a difference between Lagos and Bombay 😡

Indians in Nigeria behave like they own the country. They are allowed to do anything they like in the country. They have supermarkets they shop at in Lagos and when nigerians go there to shop, you see them looking at you like you are the foreigner.

Your clip is not good enough cause there's a video of a Nigerian lady who went to that Indian school with his two kids for admission which the Indians head teacher in the school rejected her saying that the school is only for Indians. In Ghana, DPS (Delhi Public School) is of Indian establishing but it has Ghanaian students. It is one of the high end educational institutes. High fees, high tutoring... if you can afford the fees, your kids can attend. Last time i checked they paid in dollars (it may have changed now though).

The government should put them through dilficulty in residence ( can't have our passports or permit to stay Unless they want to school which they will be given permit to stay through their study time, ) and should not be allowed to have a shop and who ever come with working visa or business visa should not be renew in Nigeria but they have to go back to India to get a fresh visa, all this should be handled by police, with a civilian team that can be called foreigners registration operation with their own special police working under them then last the interior ministry but the police should be there to make arrest if any is found guilty
