just watched the ep3 reaction, went right into this one, and am DELIGHTED that y'all actually followed through with the Beaujolais promise. Y'all are awesome, and I'm gonna love watching three dads joining Joel's quest west. Cheers.
I’m sure you have figured this out by now but Joel also rolled over while sleeping and had his left ear covered and his bad ear up so he wouldn’t have heard the crunching. I think what’s awesome about this series is each character getting a back story humanizes them. This gives you points of relating even if they are making horrible, stupid and short sighted decisions (Kathleen) you see them or what they once were. Even the scene with Brian who looked young and was pleading to live and calling out for his mom which was heartbreaking despite those decisions needing to be made to protect Joel and Ellie. In a game these are usually nameless faceless adversaries you need to go through to accomplish your tasks and progress.This show enriched everything in purposeful detail imo. The show runners have an amazing podcast hosted by the actor that plays Joel in the game that recaps and explains each episode after they are released and to me doesn’t spoil anything but gives you a better understanding of how every thing in these episodes has a purpose. So cool. Great reactions. Thanks y’all.

It was really uncomfortable how you said "Shut the fuck up bitch" about Ellie. I don't expect anyone to be PG about this show, but that was really tactless given that she's a kid in this.
