Love this, I always struggle with making family homes so watching yours are always such a massive inspiration! As for kits, I really like them cos they're cheaper and easy to pick and choose which ones you want. Also, I never thought about it before but makes sense that they could be stuff that didn't necessarily make it into expansion/game pack!

Plum bella said she was working on the kit while hsy was in development and that she wanted the hsy neon mirror in the kit but they told her that it was already in the pack so she came up with that puddle mirror.

I do think it makes sense that some of the kits were items that were cut from packs👍🏻 Also, in reality it does make sense to spend more time on the kids rooms then the parents room. Because, I think generally the parents are working or doing chores and aren’t in their room a lot unless they’re going to bed. Where as, the kids would be in their rooms to sleep, do their homework, play, and relax. So, to me it makes sense to spend more time on the kids’ rooms👍🏻

Great build, as always. I 100% think that kits are leftover items. It makes sense. You pointed out country kitchen and cottage living, the same could be said for other kits as well. I like kits, they are okay. Blooming Rooms, for example, is my fave, but the clutter one could have been better. The items are great but there are so many other clutter items that would have worked as well... I do think kits are pricey for what you get but idk. I buy the build kits anyway but not the cas ones.
Great build 😊 as for children and toddlers there legs are morphed and glitched and they float in the air on my ps5. Until there fixed I don’t have them in my main household. High school years cas and build mode items have so much to choose from . As for the going to school it’s a let down , same as university also a let down .as for kits I like them cause I’m on ps5 we don’t have cc and mods and I wish we could get a urban gear in kits .

It seems more clay like, kinda more intense shadows-it’s something that look’s different from other simmers/what I remember mine looked like. Basically, what graphics settings are you using/are you using a filter to get it to look like that? 🤣
Really great recreation and beautiful house. It is really weird to me that everyone always makes dining rooms with just the right amount of chairs for the family because everyone I knew growing up always had a table with at least six chairs or if they had six people they usually had one of those extendible tables and at least eight chairs. So everyone had enough space at the table for the family and a couple of guests. Even when the living room was quite small. I don't know, maybe people do try to just have the right amount of chairs at their tables now...? But it weirds me out in big houses especially if they have big or multiple living rooms.
I need to know how you change the shape of the counter via the gallery, is it a cheat code or did I just missed something in my game? It's so much easier! 😍 Like at 11:47
