8:14 Daffy Duck: Hey, can you believe it? Eric Bauza won Bugs his first Emmy award but not mine? Bugs Bunny: Don’t be so hard on yourself, Doc. We didn’t win any Emmys for June Foray but a witch from The Garfield Show did.
Fun Fact: After the studio decided Mel's performance of Yosemite Sam in Who Framed Roger Rabbit wasn't on-par, the decided to bring Joe Alaskey to voice him. When Mel saw the film he was fooled into thinking that was his voice in the film.
Fun fact! At one point Mel Blanc was in a terrible car accident and left in a coma. In an effort to get a response, doctors decided to ask him “Bugs Bunny, how are you doing?” And, weakly, Mel Blanc responded IN CHARACTER. Same thing happened when doctors asked if Tweety Bird was there too. He also recorded the first few episodes of The Flintstones (as Barney Rubble) from his hospital bed while recovering.
@cnsayin8847 Not for those 5 episodes but otherwise Mel did record his lines. Simply put While he was in the hospital Daws Butler filled in for those episodes once Mel woke up and was able to speak then he resumed voicing Barney.
The performances that these voice actors gave for these iconic Looney Tunes characters is absolutely legendary! If it weren't for the voice actors playing their part in bringing these moments to life then we wouldn't know them today!
My favorite June Foray’s Performance is the one that nobody ever seen or heard, was her cute voice acting of Raggedy Ann from the holiday animated short films of the late 70’s I Love June’s Voice as The Sweet Little Ragdolly Annie and not to mention the fact she was 61 years old at the time when she played her in “Raggedy Ann & Andy In The Great Santa Claus Caper” and she can do one hell of an adorable voice and it warms my heart everytime i hear Ann’s voice from these and the Christmas and Halloween 70’s animated short films of The Ragdoll twins are my favorite
I don't believe Mel Blanc will ever be surpassed in the sheer volume of characters he voiced over the years. The man's a legend in the industry and an enormous part of many of our lives. He died when I was 6 years old, when I was too young to even be aware of him, but his work makes him immortal.
While everyone on the list deserves credit Mel by far was the obvious choice for number 1. Though I have a few more honorable mentions Bea Benedict Sara Benner Billy Bletcher Larry Storch Kath Soucie Jim Cummings Kent Rogers Bernice Hansen and Pinto Colvig even if their characters weren't as well known as the ones Mel and the others voiced they still left their mark on the Looney Tunes franchise.
Hey, MsMojo. You should definitely do a list of the Top 20 Best Hanna-Barbera Voice Acting Performances. Here are a few examples you guys should mention. Examples: Daws Butler Frank Welker Alan Reed Janet Waldo Don Messick George O'Hanlon Casey Kasem Paul Winchell Mel Blanc Gary Owens
10:22 there is a part that appreciates you guys mentioning burson sure how his life ended was depressing but he was a good voice actor especially when he did yogi, foghorn leghorn and bugs. Not to mention that he was trained by daws butler himself.
Ever since June Foray passed away I was so heartbroken and never had a chance to meet her! June was sometimes like a fairy godmother to me! She even did the voices of Rocky the flying squirrel and Natasha Fatale and other characters from the Rocky and Bullwinkle show! It was one of my all-time favorite cartoons from when I was little! And the best thing about them is that they were in my dream when they were about to rescue me and to include me to go on a great adventure together! And the part of that dream was kind of strange yet it was beautiful that Rocky even knew my name! But instead of flying down to me he was a lasso to swing over to me! And then I said Rocky! Bullwinkle! And then at the end we said something really cool together about having an adventure but I just can't recall what we all said together! But it did have something to do with having an adventure together! It was the best dream I ever had about Rocky and Bullwinkle and I loved it so much that I sometimes wish I could be the part of the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon! But it doesn't matter anymore because now I was thinking that someone should make a new Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon that is much better than the one on prime! Only this time they should add some old friends and new friends and old enemies and new enemies and of course new plots! I called it Rocky and Bullwinkle moose mysteries or squirrel secrets!? Pretty Grand idea I must say wouldn't you agree!?❤
Kristen Gig not only voiced Lola Bunny but in Despicable Me she voiced the Grandma & Lucy the mom for the daughters & wife of Gru voiced by Steve Carrell a perfect pair.
12:09 according to the man himself, Mel Blanc the answer to that is Yosemite Sam. He said he yelled his lines for an hour and a half for a single cartoon, and in doing so strained his throat.
I would say in terms of difficult to voice, it's a toss-up between Daffy and Yosemite Sam. Even Mel Blanc himself admitted that the latter was hard. But we sure thank him! 😊
Shh. Be wevy wevy quiet; I’m hunting wabbits. WABBIT SEASON DUCK SEASON SSSUFFERING SUCATASH!! MY BISCUITS ARE BURNING!!! Beep beep What’s up doc? I love Looney Tunes
Wow, this was really, really, well done although I would’ve liked to see a little more love for Billy West as he wasn’t only Elmer, but also Bugs Bunny for the theatrical film of the original space jam, as well as some other things. I am glad he was mentioned though! I did notice one tiny mistake. although Eric Bauza does voice Marvin the Martian In The Looney Tunes Show series he wasn’t the singing voice for Marvin as used in the “I’m a Martian” clip. Damon Jones was the composer and lyricist and wrote many songs for The Looney Tunes Show’s Merrie Melodies segments. Jones performs the singing voices of Marvin the Martian, Foghorn Leghorn, Speedy Gonzalez and even Henry Hawk and it was decided for his original performance to be used.
Mo Rocca has an amazing podcast called “Mobituaries”… he has one on June Foray which is absolutely amazing to learn so much about her… she is the reason I can laugh that “evil laugh” 😈 so very very well… ❤️🔥 she made my childhood so much better.

The Man of a thousand voices indeed

Yes he was called the man of 1000 Voices back then and voiced Barney on the Flinstones as well.

All the Looney Tunes Voice Actors are Awesome.
I Love Looney Tunes
When Witch Hazel was turned pretty in "Broom-Stick Bunny," she became a caricature of June Foray, with June's everyday voice. "Rowl, rowl!"
Mel Blanc is like the godfather of voice acting he is the legendary MAN OF A THOUSAND VOICES
My pick is June foray she was and has been a legend.

Bea Benaderet too
We love Mel Blanc
The second I heard Eric Bauza's, the first thing that came to mind was, "IT'S HERO TIME" And I use the term loosely.
Billy West deserves an honourable mention
Yes! His voice for Elmer Fudd was just as good as Arthur's
And wait no Maurice Lamarche as Yosemite Sam and Jim Cummings as Taz ? Clearly disrespectful.
@@vincentfichtler7758 Somehow, I didn't realize that.

John T. Smith for “What, no gravy?” And as The Crusher!

June Foray was her era's Tara Strong while Bea Benaderet was Grey DeLisle.
Yall said 1989. I think you meant 1949 for the release of Fast and Furry-ous.
Mel Blanca is the man
Wow that amazing
I love hearing Mel Blanc as Zookie.
Correction: Fast and Furyest Was From 1949 Not 1989. & Lonney Tunes Was Not Made Yet When Mel Blanc Was 15
And the Bugs Bunny Show Was not Originally from 1986. & The Warner Bros. Animation Bosses Name Was Pronuced Edward Selzer
Personally, I say Joe Alaskey played the best Daffy and Sylvester voices after Mel Blancs death. It's such a shame he's gone too.
i grow up with jeff bergman bugs bunny became i watch the looney tunes show in 2011
