    I started singing nov 2020, I am up to 100 or so songs that I practice, I practice 10-20 of those songs each day, if I need to rest, I speak the words. A few months ago I decided to get serious, and I found you, and you said stop imitating, perfect advice for someone that just decided to take singing serious, the exercises are great, your very entertaining, they just don't make them like you anymore. Thank You -----PS-- tonight was the first night I turned the volume down to be able to100 percent focus on what I sound like, I am trilled, I am not so afraid anymore and the power, the new tones, I am listening and wondering whos voice is this, and for the first time I broke out in a sweat.

    So I make electronic music and use synthesizers. And the different tongue positions and lip shapes you are showing, it's like using different filters on a synth.
    This is really fun to experiment with, and makes me feel like I have control of my voice as an instrument, rather than what I normally do when recording vocals, which is
    to just do a take and try to feel the emotion and hope for the best...

    I just can't, your channel is such a hidden gem, you have so much valuable knowledge and you know how to explain everything very well. I have significantly improved my voice in just a few days with you I swear. My biggest problem was that I tend to sound like an "orphan" (hard to explain it differently xd) but when I manage to get that resonance my voice becomes so juicy and colorful 😊♥️ obviously I can't keep that resonance for a long time and I loose it here and there but now I finally know that something like that even exist and how to get it :)
    And you are so nice to watch, I mean, you are one of a kind and it's fascinating :) thank you so much!
    (I want to improve my singing because one girl asked me if I want to sing a in Church a little bit and I couldn't convince her that I cannot sing xD so here we are xd You are a blessing for me 😊)

      Of course I cannot accurately advsie you without seeing and hearing you. Maybe you are needing a balance of lower resonance and upper resonance. Mainly upper resonance will make you sound bright and young. Maybe that is what you describe as an "orphan'. 😊

    Hello Ms. Victoria, I liked your videos, and I can learn lots of benefits. I want to buy Tenor Vocal Exercise Program, so I have questions about that. I am not sure that I am tenor or baritone. My old vocal coach said to me you are like high baritone. What should I buy? Thank you for your all energies, greetings from Turkey. ❤

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  2 роки тому

      Hello, Atakan! Each program covers 2 1/2 octaves in range. If unsure, you can always order the tenor program and if it’s too high, you have 30 days to switch to bass/baritone. If your former teacher said you are a high baritone, I’d probably start with tenor.

    Why does professional singers sound so good even if they are not doing anything fancy.
    Like the first half of Arijit Singh's performance in gima awards 2017 is so simple but it is still mesmerizing even when he starts Janam Janam it sounds so good but when I do the same thing it's not even close.

    I set a 10-minute timer and just kept on humming on a 5 note or full asccending scale as much as I could in one breath, repeatedly for 10 minutes. Then I felt pain on my soft palate and a bit on my throat. then when doing it again the next day I realized that I was tensing my tongue and soft palate when ascending in pitch. I let go of the tension and realized that not only could I still go up in pitch but that it was a whole lot easier. I think I was getting nervous and tensing everything up as a result. Teacher please tell me, is this correct?

    • @Victoria-Victorious
      @Victoria-Victorious  2 роки тому

      Hi, Starfish! In answer to your question, each program covers 2 1/2 octaves in range. If singers are not sure of their voice type, I recommend ordering alto/mezzo-soprano for women and bass/baritone for men, especially for beginners. That is for lower to medium voice types, so unless you consider your voice to be high, this should work. If not, you have 30 days to switch to the higher voice category.
