Thanks for giving us the opportunity to work and calibrate your vehicle. Excellent video by the way, you surely do a fine job explaining things on the video. Even I learned a few things from hanging out with you. 😅
The truth comes out! I'm sure those guys that scammed you will be getting lots of business 😂 Much respect to these tuners, what a great team there, nice to see customer service still exists. Keep chasing perfection brother 👌🏼
I would have gone crazy after finding out the things this shop found and told you. Glad things worked out great and you avoided blowing that beautiful car.
I had this issue with performance destination. Got Lavigne motorsports to review the map & it Ended up just being the boost controller settings. One revision and car was making great power!
The routing of boost lines is common mechanical knowledge(should be) Running SD needs to have wires routed correctly and pinned correctly for the ecu to get the most precise readings. Hopefully the future of your evo lasts and reliable! Cheers for a good video!
I'm following you bro,I have a EVOLUTION too and not built yet but with everything I that's on this car I'm about as high I want to go 415 -435 wheel hp but bout to get it built with a 2.1 or 2.2 stroker KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 💯💯💯💯💯

Make sure your return line in your fuel pump is drilled out. Mine was running rich after my tune (aem infinity). I drilled out my return line and it’s perfect now. Good luck!
@@CJ2X the fuel pump housing has a return line that needs to be drilled out because it is extremely narrow and restricts fuel from freely flowing back into the tank. (A bottle neck) I was having an issue where no matter that I did with my fuel pressure regulator I couldn’t get my fuel pressure below 40psi due to back pressure (which was also making the car run extra rich). I removed my fuel pump and took it apart and drilled out the plastic return portion and reinstalled and all the problems went away.
I been following your channel for a little while. Didn't realize you were in the new orleans area now. If you ever out cruising or hitting meets I would like to meet up with you.
I'm surprise you didn't go inline racing one the best evo tuning shops he's in Houston Huy does excellent tuning in tune by then only thing he's very busy so sometimes is hard to get ahold of him
Drivability is great. I just made a vid discussing this. The only “complaint” is that it takes longer for the car to crank up. From my understanding, the Haltech ECU has to analyze the cam position before actually firing up.
As i was typing this i was going to ask if your tires were slipping and then you literasaid it as i was typing . It sounds as if the car hesitates to hook one’s you start laying down the sauce . Sounds SUPER good though .
Hopefully the evos future is as bright as your forehead at the 8:00 minute mark 😂😂. Good shit though, cant wait to see you enjoy her more now thats shes healthy again bro
I'm not sure this applies to your situation but I've always wondered how you get a car with a Haltech ECU to pass inspection if your state typically plugs into the ODB2 port.
Yo! If you ever have issues again (I don't think you will either corr). My homie works for Haltech, call him (Nik) and he will make sure you're taken care of.
So the tq for the green and red pull looks to be exactly following the pink and blue tq reading from about 72mph on yet the power figure is so much more on the green and red pulls. Am I seeing that correctly?
@@CJ2X lol all I’m saying is with any Dyno, the calculation for hp is the same so the same tq at the same given speed or rpm should result in the same hp and it’s not. That’s what I was asking about. Lol
Bro, I have been asking this around a lot, I see you have a updated license plate looks as if you pass emission control like a normal stock car, I just added spacers on my rims and it didn't pass inspection.. Please I beg you show me how can you drive without having the Police stoping your for some Bull Sh**. Please talk about this
Maybe its just me or the Mic in the video but that car does not sound happy in really any of these pulls. It spikes boost, and then its just flatline like the clutch is slipping or something.

Those temps look better now that you have aluminum IC piping. Sounds awesome bro!
Yea, it was pretty evident how much cooler the car is with aluminum piping. Thanks again for that.
Good Stuff Man! Nice to see her up and running and back to normal. Can’t wait to get back to working on mine.
Looking forward to seeing the comeback! 😎

Yea, I wouldn’t know all that, I’m just an enthusiast. The way it boost controller was ran before was ok for the stock ECU.
I’m so glad you finally got the car running right after all the shit you have been through! Enjoy it dude 👍🏻😃
Thanks for the support bro. 🫡🙏🏻
Kozmic in Houston is a extremely well known and is one of the best for tunes and rebuilds and high horsepower numbers and they perfect their tunes
I need a tune too about to head over there. Thanks for the video 👍🏽

You have my vote on the 2.2. Are you going with English Racing for the stroker?
I think the 2.2 is the best of both worlds.
Certainly it is. Still revs high comparing to 2.4 but gets additional power comparing to 2.0
beautifull evo! just done nicely.
Thanks! 🙏🏻

whats that battery relocation bracket you got there? have a video on that? i like how its nice and neat there can u please explain so i could copy ;)

We don't worry about it here in Florida. They don't check
What did Zack do with the IAC unit did he end up deleting it all together or tuning around it to resolve the idle issue?

I’d rather not say. I’ve never done actual business with them so I don’t want to affect their business/reputation.

Yes but you need to take that specific pull with a grain of salt. The car was spinning on the dyno during that pull.

No.. it wasn’t Majestic. I used Majestic as a test site after the tune from Slowpoke.

thats very poor workmanship by the last shop, thats why it pays to inspect and educate yourself on your own build!
