I know it's sad when someone says a dog isn't wanted. But it's always good to see a dog in an environment where they are wanted, loved and appreciated. Every living being man, woman, child, cat, dog, etc should be in an environment where they are loved, appreciated, safe and treated well.
True but I bet they'll go out and get another dog to mistreat. These cruel people just don't stop.

So someone is speaking on behalf of someone else, allegedly? Some dog rescuers/finders only do a preliminary search, by then they are attached, and a more thorough search stops. I've seen this before in social media.
There is a chance the aunt and uncle or someone is actually desperately missing their pet. Pets get lost all the time.

Yes I agree! I did the same with my baby. I dont believe in changing their name. I feel its almost disrespectful and why put a pup through confusion when they are already going somewhere new and maybe a little scary with new humans. I love that she kept her name ❤
True but names do hold power I saw a guy in a shelter change this dogs name from Venom to honey made a big difference in the dogs personality. she seemed mean cause people would hear her name see a big black dog and get freaked out the dog could sense it and act accordingly just that name change was like magic plus sitting in the cage with her for like an hour .

I worked with a surgeon once & he said he had a German Shepherd but it wasn't his. We asked how come? He said it was the neighbour's dog but that they rowed a lot & the dog didn't like it so he wld come over to the surgeons place when his owners were arguing. Eventually he just refused to go home!

So happy this baby girl wandered into their yard. Bubbles is a fantastic border collie. They are working dogs, herding dogs and will herd children, they are #1 on the scale for all canines. Bubbles knew where she wanted to be. This is the perfect life for her and she will be perfect for y’all family. I’m so happy she found you and your family. This is going to be a wonderful life for her ❤❤❤❤❤

We have been adopted by around 40 dogs (from Pits to an Irish Wolfhound - not counting the ones we brought back to good health and found GOOD homes for and a dozen cats! We live in s rural area where 'the unwanted' are dropped!! SAD! They are all loved and missed!!

Exactly. The fact that they had her for at least 4 years by her build / size & essentially threw her out the door... who cares if she starves, is attacked, eats something poisonous, is run over, etc.... is just indication that they are NOT good people. And neither is the niece because she gave a simple reponse & didn't care either. Makes you wonder HOW such people treat their senior or disabled relatives.

Sounds like the majority of pets that end up at my grandma's farm. People either have abandoned them there or nearby, or they just show up themselves. Only 1 case did 1 one of them get brought there by my cousin because he found the dog alone on a back road where no houses were for a good while. He tried posting on Facebook and Twitter to see if anyone knew who's dog. No one claimed it and she lived her last few years there.

@@thomasparsley8195 thank you unfortunately my grandma pasted last year, my aunt now owns said farm and has taken in a kitten my sister found when a old garage at her place was being torn down to build a new one. So my aunts keeping the tradition so far.

Well, border collies can be a hand full. With miles of farm land and another dog to run with, I am sure it is better behaved now. If they were not running it before, it may have had behavior issues. I always let my dogs run during the day. They are so much easier to handle after that. It makes them so happy to just run.

Maybe the Dog kept running away to other places where people had children. In other words, those people were childless ( or Elderly) and not as exciting. They just decided wherever Bubbles went next could keep her ...with their Blessings.

I have. Some dogs are adventurous, like some cats who go to different homes in a neighborhood or even out of the neighborhood to "visit" with a new family.

I'm unable to imagine a human being who would just not care if their dog ran away. I get it if you can't take care of the dog and you give it up for adoption, but what kind of person would wake up in the morning with their dog gone and just not care?

What they said is: “Oh that’s my Aunt & Uncle’s dog & THEY DON’T WANT HER‼️ Most food banks all have food for dogs too! I know ours here in my Methodist Church always has big stacks of 40lb bags of dry dog food, canned & all kinds of dog treats, chews & toys. Same thing for cats too.
