I think Bill is possibly dead, but possibly not. When he "dies" he says "A-X-O-L-O-T-L my time has come to burn! I invoke the ancient power that I may return!" This is backwards. Then forwards he yells "Stanley!" Then he gets punched and shattered by Stan. He could still be alive because of his chant, or he could be dead because his chant failed, which would exclaim why he yelled "Stanley" in a voice of what sounded like desperation (at least to me). He could be alive because Stan has his memory back, but he could be dead because he could have been weakened while Stan's mind was being erased, and Stan may have destroyed him while he was weakened.
There is also a UFO in the shop that Mabel and Dipper travel though. There is also a lot of 8's in the begging credits like on Stan's staff in the begging when the kids get off the bus, and when Dipper pits his hand across the book also when everything was floating in the room. Just like to point that out

I believe that it does not say "three letters back", it might actually say "three MONTHS back". And may I ask you, how mainly months does summer have? There are so mainly ways to sneak codes, messages and more in a cartoon, and I'm sure Alex (the director) would have found a way! See, the real question I have here is why people keep calling the symbol on the back of the one dollar bill the illuminati. First off, the illuminati was a secret society, not a symbol. Second off, the symbol on the back of the one dollar bill is known as the eye of Providence, sometimes referred to as the all seeing eye or the eye of God. Sure, the illuminati is commonly associated with the eye of Providence because conspiracy theorists think the illuminati is "always watching", but the eye of Providence is far older than the illuminati secret society. So, calling the symbol illuminati is like calling an eagle an America.

Similarly, eagles have been around far longer than the USA has. But, despite being associated with one another, no one refers to eagles as Americas.
Also, yes, Bill cipher is based on the eye of Providence from the back of the one dollar bill, despite being yellow and looking like a nacho.
