Yeah, the RPM band is def cool.
Am so glad my 8S remembers the TC setting, I wish all bikes remembered how we want to ride them. Is great when a mod is proper noticiable... transformed my Aprilia getting it mapped.
After the Busa ECU map which was in part a let down, it was nice to get up in the power band on the ZX10 and feel an improvement! I keep going back and forth on the latest gen ZX10 with cruise and the fancy LCD screen.....I need to get my QS installed on the ZX10.
@@MonkeyButtRides I think if I was putting a bike on a dyno to be uniquily tuned, I'd go for torque rather than top end, our UK roads are so twisty, a strong bottom and midrange is more important that top end, for my riding at least anyways.

I love that bike. And i REALLY miss the sound of a sportsbike with a nice little exhaust. Hope to fix that soon on the Z. Whats the point of that red light 😂😂
I think I'll go for Ivans performance tuning for the Z also.
Definitely need that QS. Translogic will be my next one. My sweet Jesus that R1M sounds amazing. The ZX10 hasnt lost a step tho really. The difference on a track would be interesting over a lap. 70mph second gear tells you all you need to know about how fast those bikes are. Magnificent.

Can't wait to hear the Z900 sing! I bet with a tight, slower track the R1 would be faster by a lot just because that 6-9 mid range grunt the R1 has is stupid strong. If you had a higher speed track with gradual flowing turns where you could spend more time higher in the RPM band it wouldn't be as big of a gap.
@@MonkeyButtRides It's almost like both of you need to come to NCCAR with your bikes for a two day track day, it'd also allow you to hear/see the Z in person :P
A 2 day track day would be fantastic, maybe I'll rent a sprinter van or something and haul the ZX10 out there.

Thx. No not all, rode the Busa yesterday, didn't make a vid though, just went out for a little cruise. I got a couple of more vids I need to knock out first, but then I will have some Busa content. Going to start pulling the accents off and a few upgrades coming soon.
Just goes to show that you do not need the latest bike. The ZX10 holds its own against the newer bike.

I was so very impressed how this 8 year old ZX10 kept up with the 22 R1M when we were closer to the 9-10k mark. Have you seen the 2024 40th anni model? I love how they didn't paint the frame!
